  1. What if you're coming off a BG8Z from 94? the Specs of this car (2.5 Turbo) sounds good, but my old bg8z at 10 lbs beat out last gen mazdaspeed 3's with extra boost.

  2. I can't even sleep, my 22 m3 turbo in polymetal grey and red interior is supposed to come on May 11, waiting is not my strong suit.

  3. I owned a 2019 preferred hatchback 6AT for about 2 years. Absolute dream of a car though pretty slow. I definitely can see myself getting into a turbo hatch again in the future. Spot on about the interior, I always said it punches way above its pay grade (mine was 27k OTD with TTL)

  4. Why do "premium" cars have garish chrome plastic and easily scratched piano plastic. VILE colour as well

  5. I've had my leased 2021 3Turbo Hatch for 10 months and 10k miles. I agree with your review of the vehicle. I was shocked with the level of refinement, ride, power handling, shift quality from the trans and quietness…AT FIRST.

Unfortunately, these cars truly have very little sound deadening, particularly around the wheel wells. By 5K I was noticing a notable increase in the highway road noise. By 10K the road noise was terrible. Like my 2020 Mazda 6 Grand Touring, the car came from the factory misaligned enough to cause tire feathering and highway straight-line stability issues. After an alignment and another rotate the noise is now acceptable. The real test came during the winter when I took it out in a rare snowfall here in Charlotte, NC and was SHOCKED at the extremely loud noise of the road slush banging on the wheel wells. I worked as a QC tech at a dealership for years and drove all makes of cars all day long and in the snow and rain also. I've NEVER experienced the amount of noise coming from a car while driving through slush or heavy rain like this car makes. My point being, as long as the tires are perfect or near perfect, it is quiet. As soon as those tires start to wear unevenly or you have to drive through heavy slush or rain, there is NOTHING to mute the noise.

The 2nd negative I'm seeing is suspension damping degradation. This car now rides much different than it did when it was new. Gone is that smooth, fluid well damped feel, replaced with a lumpiness that suggests that the gas pressurization in the struts has since failed.

It's still VERY fun to drive around town. But if you place great importance on quietness and greater longevity in regards to ride quality, a more premium brand may be a better choice.

Oh, and with the recent increase of gas prices I'm no longer using Premium gas and the difference in seat of the pants feel is negligible. The reason being, the increase in HP and torque do not occur until after, I believe, 4800 RPMS or so. Unless you're really winding this thing out, and it's really not THAT kind of an engine, you're not going to feel any difference in power.

  6. "Hey Guys…" is the most OVERUSED, outdated phrase in the entire Western world. Excellent POV (point of view) camera angle. Nice work, overall, but PLEASE consider using a new welcome phrase? Maybe, "Hi, and Welcome Back!"? Thank you…

  7. It's kind of stupid how many right elements this car has and how limited it is in terms of ordering it the way you'd want it.

You cannot order a manual one with AWD, and thus you can't get the turbo either with the manual since AWD and the turbo engine are tied together. And you can only order leather at the top trim.

Why offer a manual at all when you know anyone who'd order it would be doing it to drive an everyday sporty car, only to deny the options said customer base would be into?

  8. I actually really like that it sets the parking brake automatically. Even on a neutral slope, while the car is off it takes away pressure from brake joints and other parts which means less wear for the life of your brakes. I love Mazda, I have a 2014 and am just barely breaking 70k miles on it (I was in the military, so I didn't drive it much). I drove it cross-country back home when I discharged with absolutely no problems. I bought the car in 2018 at 61k miles so the previous owner did drive it quite a bit but took really great care of it! I'm honestly thinking of trading this one in for a more modern Mazda because they are such reliable and sleek cars.

  9. Premium fuel = 250hp/320tq
    Regular fuel= 227hp/310tq

Opinion: As my daily driver this is more than I'll ever need. Those blindspots take getting used to though… be careful. Design wise I really really like it. If you can get the aero package it really completes the look. Right now I'm in the honeymoon phase so well see how that changes down the road but I'm really digging it 👍

  10. I wasn't expecting it to sound so good. Refined, lets you know it's there, but not obnoxious. Seems like a compelling buy.

  11. 12:48 I noticed the car reacted to your paddle downshift input even when the shift was set in D instead of manual. Is that how it is supposed to work all the time?

  12. Выключил на моменте, когда после озвучивания премиальной стоимости, автору пришлось рукой багажник закрывать.

  13. my 2018 3 Touring is very loud on the highway, at least with my current tires. Good to see the future models don't have that issue

  14. Ok so, just to clarify the black options, spoiler, front lip, side mirrors and the black wheels ARE EXTRA OPTIONS Mazda turbo does not come with it from the start point these are all extras that you choose if they are providing them but the turbo doesn’t have anything different from the igt talking about exterior looks and design

  15. This is my car exactly (color too), and everything you said about the vehicle and about me as a buyer are spot-on. I love this thing.

  16. Honestly I will just save the money and get non turbo fwd version of it. The excess power in this is not worth it without sporty suspension tuning and the AWD is super front biased. You save 10k still get 90% of the cad. If I had to spend that much money I would get sportier one

  17. I love my Mazda 3 hatch, had it for 2 years already put 35k miles on it..up in the Catskills there’s a lot of windy roads and let me say having this car is a real treat..super nimble I mean very little to no body role, lightweight, throttle response is good enough, and the awd is definitely helpful giving the car that extra push coming out of corners..It’s cheaper than a golf r the sti and stinger etc..and it’s priced the same as an Si or gti/gli or any of the new Hyundais which are all FWD(not that awd is better than fwd just more convenient to me) I think it’s a proper tuner car especially with the 2.5 4 cyl(which sounds amazing) I think it will fit right in as soon as they start coming out with some after market parts for it lol
