  1. How do you keep that pressure on your line when you're fishing? Nobody addresses this. I cast forty yards of line and just reel it in with no pressure when fishing.

  2. A good ideas to put line on your reel is a bolt (1/4" or 5/16") with a fairly stiff spring and wingnut. Put your spool of line on the bolt (you can use various spacers for different size spools) and tighten up the wingnut to put tension on the spring. That should give you enough tension on the line when you are filling your reel. Works for me.

  3. Yeah you didn't even show where you tied that first knot. By the time your camera zoomed back in, it looked like nothing had been tied and you had the tag end. Then you say to tie an overhand knot "to the line coming through the eye". Then what did you tie to on the first knot if not that line?

  4. So what happens to the tightness the first time you fish with it? Am I supposed to tighten the drag all the way down and grab a towel every time I reel the line in?

  5. This would have been a great video, if the camera would’ve shown you tying the knot onto the spool (instead of being blocked by your hands). I’m 0 for 2 so far (the last guy completely skipped that part of the tutorial). On to the next one. 🤞

  6. Thank you for the video I had many questions about how to spool my new bait caster and how to tie the knot can’t wait to try spooling and start fishing

  7. im so happy to watch this video. but i have one question sir, since i am very very new using baitcaster..should i put directly the lure to my main line?after setting up main line to the reel, should i attach directly the lur to it?or should i need a swivel?please looking forward on your reply.

  8. I'm a little late to the party but, this is one of the best videos explaining how to spool braid specifically. I kept having issues and realized it was due to the line not being spooled tight enough. Thanks!
