Nico lost the race on Shish at Chelt…he kept him in a box of horses, he clearly wants room….it was accident waiting to happen. No other top 5 jockey would have lost that race. He should have been ridden like the best horse in race(clearly was by the way he ran on after awful mistake). Shishkin will love the open, galloping track. The others will struggle to repeat Chelt exploits. Shish only run a couple of times since Tingle Creek. I only wish we had another jock on top…not a Nico fan at all
So between UK and Ireland they couldn't get more than 5 runners in the first and 6 in two of the other races? Not great is it???

Shiskin had a bad experience at Chelts in 2022 and I think it soured him for Chelts 2023. Animals remember where and when they suffered. He'll love Aintree and pootling round relative to what speed he's been asked to run before.
