Even prey that is rarely hunted will become targets. With their limited size, wild dogs rarely dare to attack elephants or large herbivores in wild animals. Their favorite targets are usually small antelopes, or animals injured from a previous hunt. Faced with hunger, however, they have no other choice in wild animals.
But taking down an adult elephant with such a huge size is very difficult for a pack of wild dogs in wild animals.
