Here is a really simple example of a trade you can do in-running on racing.
This back to lay trade is explained in detail and using small stakes so you can replicate. Use practice mode if you wish when you first try it.
Prices move a lot in-play but as well all know there are many places where the favourite can lose the race.
If you trade rather than bet you can still win, even if the favourite doesn’t.
Link do palpite
I’m lost .. I did this twice I won 10 lost 10 haha I put the lay bet as less .. makes no difference as my stake is the same ?
I win when it wins , break even if I lose ??
Sorry I’m new and confused
I really like the idea behind this. Do you look at the horses form or do you pick any odds on favourite?
This is a great strategy and is made complete by two criteria being present before you decide to do your back to lay. FIRST – Has the horse been backed ie is it fancied. SECOND – Is there something that will convince in running punters to shorten the price – This is a front runner etc. BACK to LAYs are really profitable but the most important part is picking the right horses!
is it just the favourite your trading on with the most money
I tried this yesterday all 3 did not get matched so how can you say you win what ever horse you back lay?
just don't understand if the backed horse loses how can you profit if any off the other horses win?
Hi Peter, would not this strategy work better as lay to back, would the stats be similar to back to lay?
So what happens if you do your homework back the fav and the lay price doesn't go down but goes up?
How much shall we lose if the horse do not touch the lay bet and do not win the race?
It happens once a month. Most of the time prices do not get matched.
