Betfair Scalping £62+ Pre Race (Video Course)

Need help with your Betfair scalping strategy? See the full course details here:

Pre-race scalping is one of the most popular areas to start when learning how to trade in the markets. As this video shows, pretty much anyone can have a go…

IN THIS VIDEO:

Several areas of scalping are briefly over-viewed.

– What is Betfair scalping?
– How scalping strategy works on Betfair.
– Example of some successful scalping trading.

Learning to scalp successfully can take a fair amount of time, but with the resources available the path to success could be far quicker.

When a trader looks to ‘scalp’ the market they are effectively looking to take 1, 2 or sometimes 3 ticks out of the market quite quickly – for limited risk.

This is done with the use of sports exchanges. An exchange is required as you will need to place both back and lay bets on the same selection. Much like any other form of trading, you are aiming to buy and sell at different prices to obtain a profit.

For more technical, in-depth information, see the link at the top of this video description.

Also; if you have a scalping question that you would like to put forward please mention it below. Thanks for watching!

  1. hey caan, cheers for the consistently helpful videos,. after 6 months and watching your scalping pack about 20 times i am finally starting to win more than i lose, mostly! anyway, what software do you use to record your videos pls? i really feel like this may help me to identify some weaknesses in my game 🙂

  2. Love your work Can
How about making one about how arbers can make a load of the Betfred pushes. Given the correct title I am sure it would get 1000s of views. I have explained it to many but sure you with screen shots would do it better on YouTube.

  3. Hi Caan. Which method of trading on horses is most profitable for you. Is it swing trading, scalping or back to lay in play? Presume it is probably one of the first 2 and what percentage of races a day do you use each strategy?

  4. Hello! I'm using geekstoy, but I do not see any option when I open the market to enter a certain quota, I do not want to mark stop loss, I just want to enter and exit, I do not want the market to mark a stoploss, if I lose I lose it. But I can not find any option, I saw the OCO option, but I must mark the stop loss but I do not really want to mark it PD: sorry for my bad English. I want to know if there is an option to not enter stop loss, I want to go live at certain large installments, but because of the stop loss I can not

  5. Hi Caan sorry this is off topic but have you had any dealings with Ben Michaels at sports trading life

  6. sometimes betfair , does not allow to enter in a trade at certain stake, then it becomes late to enter. do you know why? or which ways to avoid it, is there any ways to set a a stake to open a trade as soon as the market reach it?

  7. Caan at 12.22 i know that all that money got matched due to cross matching but do you know what caused the cross matching to kick in? I saw it seemed to show a 17k lay on the favourite, was that the cause? I understand cross matching kicks in to stop there being an overround on the lay side but 99.4% seemed a bit early.

  8. It's ok if you have a 10 grand bank but most people trying scalping will have a 300 quid bank and get bummed by the likes of Peter Webb and yourself. Plus an API freeze would be suicide job. Make a vid with a realistic bank or its pointless.

  9. Is this in practice mode or live mode? I tried the UK market live mode last night did OK different timezone i'm in New Zealand I made my 1% I am after. I had geeks toy auto tick on so when you place a trade as soon as it gets matched it places the next one and hedges up and so on.

  10. its good watching a master at work, obviously you have to have a lot of confidence in reading the market, I trade sports, like rugby tennis snooker football, I tried the racing markets but like a dog chasing its tail :-O

  11. You mustve had a £20k bank to do that though so the return is miniscule and not many people would be able to replicate this.

  12. Great video, maybe a bit unrelated but I was wondering what is the best website for doing pre match research on horses and also what is the best software to cut out the 5 second waiting time in Betfair? You know I'm looking for something that cashes you out as soon as you click the button so in case the market moves against me I can get out asap. Thanks in advance
