Here is a recent trade I did which outlines a clear entry and exit from a market.
When you arrive in the market, you typically need to make a judgement on what is likely to happen next. But that judgement can be quite broad and still get you roughly in the right place.
Of course, it can go wrong but the idea of effective trading is putting yourself in a position where a mistake is less likely.

Peter, the 2nd fav looked like it had hit resistance at 3.5 – and I would probably have started backing, where you started laying, expecting a further drift. Thanks for that. Clear, precise and a great benefit, but I never really get the major difference between a swing and a trend trade in practice.
