I figured that last week’s “epic” matchup of 49ers vs. Cowboys was not going to be topped in terms of action/hilarity. Turns out you could argue that all four matches from the Divisional Round were far superior to running a QB Draw with fourteen seconds and no timeouts left. There were too many to choose from, but after the epic that was Bills vs. Chiefs? I had no choice. There had to be such a treatment for a legendary game.
I will have probably done this poorly, but this game should be immortalized. Hopefully, it will be in due time. We will all be old and still talk about this in the same breath as The Ice Bowl or The Catch. That is nearly guaranteed.
Just watch the AFC and NFC Championship games one-up this match in every single way. Just because.

I thought Buffalo should have made sure the last kickoff landed in field to take a few seconds off the clock as normally that takes 4 seconds to get to the 25 yard line, maybe more if the returner tries to get a few extra yards. That might have left Kansas with less than 10 seconds to get the field goal.

As much as I hate the dynasty concept in the NFL (I’m a Bills fan and the Patriots ruined that for me) I think I would be fine with the Bills and Chiefs being a dynasty for the next few years battling it out against each other. Even if the Bills weren’t part of that dynasty battle, something other than the Pats and the idea of trading AFC crowns seems nice.
