Residents in areas, where there is constant load reduction, have been complaining about ongoing outages due to some neighbours bypassing the system. The power utility has been on a drive to disconnect those stealing electricity, in some instances in affluent suburbs with palatial homes.

Eskom should be looking for these illegal connections each and everyday and disconnect these criminals that are causing load shedding and arrest them
