  1. Don't dlss presets from the game. Use dlss tweaks and modify the scaled resolution however you like. 1776p or 1380p if you want…

  2. Waiting for RTX 5000 series for my next upgrade, but unfortunately it seems Nvidia is giving us less hardware improvements & more software improvements to make gpus faster

  3. EVGA just was smart and saw the writing on the wall, most of the PC parts business is an overpriced buble, especially for GPUs and Mobos so I understand very well why EVGA decided to get out of that crap while they still didn't lose that much.
No way in hell I'm buying a new Mobo or GPU at MSRP this days, I'm going all in on the used market except ram and storage.
According to MLID (AMD shill and sellout for views) AMDs answer is excellent and people are just making it sound bad, as soon as I heard it I closed the tab playing that vid didn't even deserve a dislike or a comment.
Agreed on the drivers, Nvidia is better but AMD is finally at a point that it's ok, still some issues but 97% of the time no issues so for the better price performance i'm willing to suffer the 3%.
If I was building a new PC right now I would also go with 10850k, can get a high end Z590 mobo for 150$ and CPU for 200-250$ or sometimes combos of Mobo+CPU+Ram for 300-400 but than you don't get to chose the Mobo. I'm actually looking last couple months for a deal on combo or parts but looking for a crazy deal as I'm already pretty set with 9900k so no rush. Got a 5960x too and was able to OC it within 97% of my 9900k running at stock.
Got a nice deal on an X299 Mobo but oh man good CPUs for it are still very expensive, got a W2123 to test it a bit for now but than probably will go in the closet until I find a deal on more than 10 core CPU.
Don't care about warranty most of the time as it's crap anyway in my country so I will happily buy EVGA, already got a GTX 980ti Classified for 100$ a few months ago and will keep looking for good deals on EVGA.

  4. 48:30 could be GPU / could be MB or PSU but can also be the CPU , cause i hav a 3800X ( Bronze Sample) and i ran 1usmus's RyzenOC tool ( where it was labeled as a "BRONZE SAMPLE" in 1usmus's CTR or "Clock Tuner for Ryzen" and after that my PC started just OCP or just Powering off even just in Windows on Idle, or as soon as i started doing a light to heavy load i would get InstaKilled ( aka Powered of) or HARD RESET on its own, I tried newer MB ram and CPUs and the 3800X was my only CPU doing this so beware of CTR… by 1usmus, ITS DNAGEROUS. IT KILLED MY CPU AND OR HEAVILY DEGRADED IT ;( 😭😭😭😭😭, so they should also check their CPU, IT CAN ALSO CAUSE SHUT DOWNS…… My 3800X does, I need to get it back out and test it again. but i know it wil still do this, I should have RMAd it with AMD

  5. What is considered anti-consumer?

an·ti-con·sum·er. ˌan-tē-kən-ˈsü-mər, ˌan-tī- : not favorable to consumers : improperly favoring the interests of businesses over the interests of consumers.

  6. If you want to min-max for latency then the 9900k should have even lower latency with it’s 8-core ringbus vs the 10900k. But the small difference there is outweighed by the extra cache and 2 more cores from the 10900k imo.

  7. It can be easily revealed by announcing a statement with photos of Kingpin and Taiwanese office staff. Asus' SafeDisk team offices are nearby and he knows most of the overclockers, so he seems to know the situation better than we do.

  8. Can overclocking the gpu vram degrade it prematurely? I thought only voltage and heat can degrade silicon. When you raise the memory slider does it increase the voltage silently?

  9. Everybody benefits from FSR not everybody Benefits from DLSS, i don't have an issue using FSR with my Nvidia card as it just works 👍

  10. Consumer/Crypto miner killed EVGA. idk how good is EVGA warranty but if as good as people make it sound like, imagine all those crypto miner claiming warranty every time the GPU dies or something allow the warranty to be used. They got killed by people/mining giant abusing that warranty especially if that warranty is being enforced by the potentially corrupt law.

  11. Selling a 4050 as a 4060 certainly is some shrinkflation. Or selling an overclocked 4060 as a 4070 at almost 3080 prices – that's double shrinkflation.
That shrinkflation is why I think the super refresh is likely. IMO they'll swap the GDDR6 for GDDR7 if it is compatible as rumors pre-launch suggested – and then they'll just call them the correct thing. 4070 super based on AD103 with 16GB of GDDR7 for example and then the 4050s they're calling 4060s would get either faster G6 or just stay the same and be called 4050/4050 Ti and then the 12GB AD104s as 4060 super and 4060 Ti super with G6 and potentially G7 on the Ti if it is worth it.
Although – honestly – they make bring back the Ultra monitor rather than Ti Super – or simply call them 50 series since there will be a full generation improvement on everything but possibly 4080 and 4090s depending on how well they respond to the increased bandwidth.

  12. does the threadripper cost include RnD, marketing, warranty returns, software tools, etc or just raw manufacturing? I bet it is just manufacturing cost

  13. Nvidia sounds like it's using extorsion to keep their affiliates in check. Phifft. It's not something I like to hear from Nvidia but since when have they practice fairness?

  14. 10:30 it's already been debunked by a few credible sources that AMD aren't blocking DLSS, and that said the modding community will probably add it anyway.

  15. Good serves them Right. I bought a brand new Kingpin motherboard 2 months ago and the 1st time I tried releasing the Graphics card retaining clip, it broke into pieces. I tried getting a new clip from EVGA and they told me I needed to RMA the entire Motherboard. Great way to lose business. I told them last week if they couldn't even help a customer replace a 4 cent clip, then they should not even be in business. That was just last week. Now I see this story.

  16. The game works on all brands of hardware, want to run the game at settings that exceed your hardware use FSR or buy a different game. No one is Entitled to play a video game, its a luxury.

  17. Still have my EVGA 850w Platinum PSU, I bought in 2018, I also have my 12yr warranty. Not keeping it for that long, maybe 2 more years then I will build a whole new PC 😁

  18. AMD need to be spending money on developing PC GPUs rather than push budget console chips to the ignorant. Blocking superior competing tech from Nvidia and Intel is an anti-consumer move from AMD.

  19. EVGA should partner with AMD Radeon. They would make some amazing cards for their loyal fans and bring down the market share for greedy Nvidia. (Maybe they would reduce prices)

  20. Can this be one of the effects of the Recession? Market may not show its going down yet but it takes 1 day to tank the whole thing.

  21. Yo Bryan, does 11th gen in your experience give the same level of snappiness as 10th gen? (if you pair it with fast ram that is)

  22. I used a lot of EVGA PSU's in builds I flip, I'm going to miss them.

DLSS and XeSS will find its way into the game. I don't fault AMD entirely, they and Nvidia are competitors, but was this a move that has an obvious benefit? I don't think so, but I don't work for AMD.

You aren't going to look at arguably the biggest game release of the year?

  23. There are consumer protections definitely in the UK, and I suggest always pay by credit card if you have one, this will add a layer of added protection under the Consumer Credit Act 1974.

  24. 10850K is a goat low latency CPU paired with Samsung BDie and some tweaks to RAM Timings, ive been on allcore 5.1Ghz 10850K / 4x8Gb 4133 16 16 16 at 38ns CPU/RAM for a couple yewrs now. Ram helps when games are CPU Bound, allowing better throughput when thread limited games are still common.
Tops out 85*c when AVX Rendering at 5.1Ghz on 360mm AIO.
