I Used This Betting Strategy to Beat the Bookies: FULL Explanation

I explain the betting strategy I used to beat the bookies for charity in a previous upload last week. You can watch it here –

It’s a simple betting strategy based on logic, probability and maths.

This video documents my journey for informational purposes only. Past results are not necessarily indicative of future results. Understanding probability and value is crucial. Thanks for watching.

  1. I cant believe your advertising this one caan. Running up to the counter like a screaming banshee once in a blue moon to attempt to get a dog bet on thats slightly under on betfair is a total no no. I hate bookies but you know as well as i do even the counter staff are savvied up now to chancers. Your made sp straight off the bat and your cctv images are circulated all over.
To give this out as a good strategy is totally unfair on your subscribers because they will be on a hiding to nothing.
This used to work many moons ago but is a write off in todays market.
    Surprised at you advertising this.

  2. Hi .can Berry my one Question about multigoals 2 options-no 1 (1-2)(1-3)2-3)(1-4)(1-5) goals]. Option No 2 —Anything other than (1-2) (2-3)(1-4)(1-5)(6) goals—explain me option no 2

  3. Tried this last night in Australia online, worked well. Managed to find 2 winners and a couple of losses, but snagged some good prices with slow moving bookies

  4. 100% works
£1100 in 3 days from Bet 365 before heavily restricted.
Currently £825 in 5 days with Hills ( some restricted to win £45 a race)
Need more work to check who is slowest to change prices but it’s absolutely solid.

  5. this video is about 22 years behind the times shrewd people who knew what they were doing was doing this 20 years ago when the shows come from the track. you sir are about 20 years behind the times and good luck doing it these days with the bookmakers betting shows which open up at 132 to 136 percent plus now days plus you have the new super fast tills

  6. Hi cain can you just follow the money on betfair and place the bet with them? A wins a win right?

  7. hi, so is this just value betting but in store? so you cant really get gubbed?

  8. Thanks for the follow up Caan. 2 questions. 1, are the prices better in shop or is it just as good online? 2, is it only the favourite you apply this to, for example what if there was no large money coming in for say the second favourite, but the price was much better at the bookie? Still bet or leave it?

  9. Been using this exact strategy for a few weeks now and been having great success tbh so thank you for that and just to add to the point some races are 100% fixed and bent just by seeing it seeing a dog that was place at 11.0 odds on the exchange seeing it win and looking at the markets after the race of that dog big bet was placed probably just seconds before it sets off. Just hoping don’t get restricted which I’m sure will probably be soon seeing as I’m withdrawing from my account and not topping it up the last few weeks. 👍🏻

  10. A lot of professional punters study the greyhound videos now so a stand out dog will be well backed on betfair as they can’t usually get on with mainstream bookmakers as they are quickly limited on winning greyhound bets. That is why quite a few dogs are shorter on betfair than at the bookmakers near the off as these professionals often spot the same “ unlucky last time out loser” so there is a rush of money for the same dog.

  11. Cheers Caan,

I actually tried your method online using Ladbrokes and the Exchange a few days back – i didn't realise how much discipline you need in regards to constantly checking the odds. Much respect

  12. Hi Caan, Thanks for the video, a big help.

Just wondering for a further understanding with the betting exchange. After you're in the final minutes b4 the race start, do you look at the margin between the low number and high number and if theres a big differential then thats what you place a bet on? Or do you go to the graph insights and when there is a large drop in price from late bets being placed and the graph shows a drop in price thats what you place a bet on?

That was the part that confused me the most. If you could please help out that would be much appreciated thank you.

  13. Caan I’ve got a question about premium charge

Will someone who only uses the site for gambling rather than trading still occurs premium charge?

I understand why traders do because of liquidity etc but for someone who is just doing a straight gamble would be better off just gambling with a bookmaker if they hit certain rates of premium charge?

  14. Just one question for you Mr Berry. Are you pre-picking these dogs/horses/football teams/tennis players on form or some secret sauce you have or are you backing on any bet you find value in?

  15. Greyhound Racing is not well regulated imo.! Good for charity though 😏. Caan I've noticed in the last few years, many horses in the UK & particularly Ireland halving in Betfair price 1 min before the off. They either come very close to winning outrun their original price, Win, or usually get placed.! Is this just the market adjusting, or late money gambles? Would be interested if you did a video on this one day. Great channel 👍😊

  16. saying its bent is so so so naive and really lets you down. The bookies do not price dogs, often they are computer generated prices and anyone with a set of eyes and 10mins study can find the ricks. This does not mean its bent just very beatable. Nothing wrong with your strategy but saying its because its bent is provably false.

  17. Hi Caan. Long time sub here. Great video as always.

I was wondering if you could help me with a slightly off-topic question?

My best betting account has been stake restricted. I want to start using a family members account on the same site.

What precautions do I need to take? Do I actually need to use a VPN? Do I need to use a separate device? Can they block withdrawals if they link the account to me for this T and C breach or is this too unlikely to worry about? Do they monitor IP address and cross check against bank account address or am I being way too cautious?

    Any advice welcome. Thanks.
