Trading sports on Betfair continues to grow in popularity with new aspiring traders looking to develop their edge within the markets each and every day.
There are a plethora of trading strategies that can be applied in sports markets all of which differ slightly and have their own nuances, whether that be in football, horse racing, cricket or any of the other popular sports across the world.

Using bet angel I intended to partake in 1000 horse racing markets, hopefully, once I reach that point I will have developed a strategy with an edge.

  1. These are the psychological barriers we have all struggled with mate. It just takes time and experience. The key to everything for me is to treat a losing trade or a losing day the same way you do with a winning one. Ultimately if you have 1 losing trade in 3, you are going to make a lot of money over the long term. If a trade loses or you miss a trade, just wait for the next one, they never stop coming around.

  2. Just subbed to your channel, good to see you are fully committed to learning the craft of trading. I also have Caan's course and it is a great resource, however, it was a complete game changer for me when I purchased Steve Howe's course. This really helped me to understand many of the market traits, and has vastly improved my P+L, would highly recommend if you are in the mood to treat yourself to an xmas present. Some of the videos are now a bit dated in both Caan and Steve's courses, but the core fundamentals are still there, and Steve has a fantastic way of breaking everything down into bite sized chunks that are easily understood. Best of luck in your journey

  3. Good one Liam, I bought Caan Berry's course a few years back, it took a while but I began to make small profit. I then took time out do my new house up and never really got back into it. Ultimately for me horse racing is really boring, so I now concentrate on Football.

  4. Nice one Liam keep going your doing great mate it's hard pre race and it was years before I made steady profits what let me down for a long time is letting my bad trades going inplay as soon as I stopped this and started working on my discipline it worked a treat , keep your stakes small also you see the patterns regular it's a great feeling when you can make money every 5/10 mins that's the good thing with horse racing ,US racing I like also it's a bit volatile so be careful good luck 👍👍👍

  5. You’ve already identified when something is going to happen, the trick is to anticipate that move before anyone else.
