  1. I know I'll probably cop a lot of shit for this question. but I've got a stock V6 04 VY CREWMEN and was wondering what exhaust should get to give it a nice sound. Something NOT to expensive.

  2. If you had a 3 inch xforce exhaust and wanted it louder should you remove resonators in the middle or mufflers at the rear? Thanks the car is a ve ss with afm turned off, also has 4 into 1 headers and 200 cell cats

  3. Hey dude, do you still have the 2.5 inch exhaust sitting around? I'm looking to upgrade the stock exhaust on my VE SS sedan

  4. That exhaust sounds so sweet the new one should get louder as they break in so drive it for a couple hundred miles before you jump in and get rid of them

  5. I've noticed the empire mufflers make it really quiet but once you have muffle deletes on it's stupid loud, are the empire headers any good?

  6. I have 3inch xforce on my cammed ve. I like them. 3inch seems to have a deeper burble, and swirl through my car when it revs. They are quieter but have a nice top end

  7. The Empire is 100% the better sounding pipes for the V8, the previous ones you had is just loud and doesnt quite capture that nice v8 sound that the empire set up does. Good video dude.

  8. I was just contemplating going from a custom 2.5" stainless to a 3" inch system on my series 2 wagon mine being cammed was wondering if it was gonna be louder and if ground clearance was gonna be a issue exhaust shop told me I should raise it up if I want a 3inch exhaust, life below 70mm… awesome vids and love the wagon…

  9. Before you touch anything, let your exhaust burn in first, once it's burnt it then you'll know what you need to do if anything 👍

  10. hey bro , i just had to turn my afm off my car due to a lifter getting stuck , got a new ls3 cam put in and tuned so i got a bit more power , do u think getting a 2nd hand 3" would be worth it? being a auto, and do u get much cabin drone? ( i have a wagon aswell)

  11. Yeah bud huge difference from stock to that exhaust from personal experience 😂 you can buy the muffler deletes from empire ✌️

  12. Ceramic coated headers are what you really want , ceramic retains the heat in the exhaust as that is what you want , more heat thats retained the more power and efficiency dont ever waste your time with things like exhaust wraps , ceramics are the way

  13. Been thinking for 2 months what to get and can't decide but I want a ve wagon now but I want your color it looks a lot better cruising. Isn't 2 step bad for your motor. I've heard it heaps but not sure if that's when people do it with turboed cars. Another good video man.

  14. Main 02 sensors for fuel tuning are the first one's in front of the cats, you should get your tuner to turn the 02 sensors back on cuz it keep your engine safe.

  15. Went from an old rusty 3" xforce to 3" stainless manta/hurricane. Sounded way nicer but not much louder.

Then 4 into 1 long tube headers which changed everything. Mean lumpy sound and a bit louder. Completely worth losing 2 inches of ground clearance at the cats haha.

224/230 cam was about the same step up in volume. Glad I kept the middle muffler by that point.

  16. Im looking at buying the same exhaust. Did you notice more hp after you put the empire exhaust on?

  17. 3" will always sound deeper, more of a rumble burble burble. And if you like that rumble of rasphy sorta noise, stick to the rear resi's
    Whens the cam coming 😉

  18. My 3inch mildsteel xforce is nothing like your 2.5 inch set up it's almost identical to that 3inch stainless setup though same hotdogs and it also slips over the Same aswel. Also sounds pretty ghetto straight piped 3 inch cat delete with no rear mufflers. It also hits gearbox x member not sure if it's because mine is manual or what. Sick wagon though bro

  19. Good vid man, I was a bit critical of your choice but was a good comparison, I'd keep the mufflers personally, straight piper can be a bit obnoxious!

  20. Of course it's quieter you went from one Muffler or whatever that was to two mufflers and two resonators " hot dogs??? " It's going to cut the sound in half, not to mention the farther back for Mufflers on a car be quieter it is.

I did the same kind of thing on my bike, I went from a 4 in to one kerker header with one small Muffler which was loud as hell Superbike sounding crazy, into a 4 in 2 dual pipes with 2 mufflers, now it's nice and quiet like a little Volkswagen bug. Most people would say what the heck were you thinking… well I was thinking my ears were ringing for an hour or more after going for a long motorcycle ride, and my son kept burning his leg on the header so yeah, lol I'm glad I made my decision a little quieter I'm happy and so are the neighbors, LOL

In your case if you want it louder yeah get rid of those Mufflers on the back and put the straight pipes back on, and it is going to be louder than the two and a half inch, not much, but you should notice it. You're also probably better get that thing re tuned, you're going to throw off the back pressure and mess with the fuel-air, it might not be much but I would at least, if you're looking for maximum performance.

I don't know what was more concerning you freaking me out driving on the left side of the road or you calling Mufflers Hot Dogs… What the heck I've never heard Mufflers called hot dogs can you please explain this? LOL Ihave sold to eat hot dogs for a living I didn't sell mufflers to eat, LOL glasspack, cherry bombs, resonators. I mean yeah Muffler called hot dogs I'm so confused…
