  1. I shop at Trader Joe's for fun snacks, little frozen meals, and wine. I don't consider them a great place for produce or meats value-wise. Otherwise, they're surprisingly affordable.

  2. Bruh this is Trader Joe's slander lol. Nobody is told to compliment your oranges, Josh. You're creating a reality that only exists in your brain

  3. I think it should absolutely be a figure of speech. Whenever my family sends each other home with food (year round) it's so "they'll be okay if they get stuck in a snowbank". We get a lot of snow in Maine, but not so much in August.

  4. I accidentally discovered that watching you two go back and forth is twice as good if you crank up the speed to double 🙂

Love you both, let the good times roll!

  5. Big fan, but Josh was extremely out of his tree one episode. Nicole knew what she was talking about. And I feel very strongly that boneless chicken wings is a lie.
I want that juicy, tender, delicious dark meat.
Not breast meat. Boneless chicken wings are just lies.

Also, love it every time you make chaos with the TryGuys, never stop.

  6. As a dairy free person living in WISCONSIN- the freakin' cheese state- I greatly appreciate Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, because they both have a lot of dairy free and vegan options. But if I was stuck in one during a snow storm- an actual possibility in Wisconsin- I'd 100% pick Whole Foods. There's the smoothie bar, the coffee shop, the hot bar, the salad bar, the deli, the BAR!!! I could spend all day there. Trader Joe's is the place I go once a year to get pumpkin stuff and greeting cards.

  7. I’ve been to Whole Foods twice, and while I love the products I bought, both times the workers were super rude. Like all I wanted was a little cake from behind the counter and the guy acted like it was a huge chore to get it for me. Never felt that way at TJ’s.

I am also a fiend for TJ’s almond croissants.

  8. This whole debate seems ripe for a mythical kitchen episode. Make the same thing in the same way with the same ingredients but source the ingredients from the 2 stores

  9. Trader Joe's vs. Whole Foods? No no, you guys are playing checkers here. Look up Jungle Jim's and go ahead and play chess with me 😂 Imagine a mall that's an international food market. Where else can you get a whole bull shark, giant mantis shrimp, every kind of ramen you can imagine, authentic food from every corner of the globe etc? Walls of tea, walls of hot sauces, aisles and aisles of soda you've never even heard of, a podcast broadcasting station, a monorail, cooking school, event center, a beer wine and liquor store as big as some stores, the list could go on and on forever!! It legit takes more than 2 trips to see everything in the place, I love it so much haha

  10. Whole foods is superior. Trader Joe's is just over priced prepackaged stuff. Whole Foods has much better options and prepared foods

  11. From someone who worked in customer service for a Kroger in my teens this conversation is steming me so hard. 😂 I am a Trader Joe's girl too! The customer service is top tier. They have such a cozy creative friendly store atmosphere. Their frozen section and snacks are my usual stops. I got most of my Christmas party snacks from there this year. I am a big fan of their frozen curry and their Fancy truffle (not) cheeto cheetos at the moment. 😋 🍛

They do have a cute skincare section! I won't lie I got a Trader Joe's Watermelon toner spray this past summer to try out and it smelled so good! 🍉 Coming from being an Esti plz be careful with your retinol. Make sure to wear SPF daily! Always in general but especially with your retinol. It'll make your skin very photosensitive! 😔☀️ My 2 favorite retinols I rec to clients all the time at work are Clarity RX's Sleep It Off Retinol Alternative Mask and Dermalogica's Retinol Acne Clearing Oil. They're chef's kiss too if want some other skincare recs! I got you 😂

  12. Listed to this on Google podcasts and got a whole foods sponsored segment before the show. Kinda throws the rest of the podcast into question when it is headed by a paid endorsement of one of the subjects.

  13. I shops at both and also Mariano’s which is an upscale Kroger brand. Josh is correct Whole Foods is my happy place and a good one is like going to Disney world. It really inspires me when I’m there. Trader Joe’s is more inspirational in the point that for the few nights I have to basically eat like a single Trader Joe’s gives me really cool ideas and one off items with good quality at an amazing price. Also with trying to eat a few more meals vegan Trader Joe’s vegan/vegetarian stuff is great!

  14. Me and all the other latinos got together and unanimously agreed that no one gives a single f*** about the name “Trader Jose’s” and we like if random white dudes stopped acting like the tiniest reference to our culture is demeaning, as if it’s something we should be embarrassed by.

  15. The thing about Trader Joe's is they literally don't manufacture any products themselves so often you can find the exact same products at good old Ralph's (take note Josh). Check the vid on my channel about it!
