In the Kopriva match, Shevchenko retired at 6-0, 1-1 so we didn’t get the entry price.
In the WTA San Diego Final, Kenin got the first break to lead 3-2. She was immediately broken back, broke again and was broken back again! That took them to 4-4.
Krejcikova held and broke Kenin for a third time to take the set.
In set 2, Kenin broke in the first game. Her won serve improved in the set and she saved the 5 bp’s faced. She broke Krejcikova again to take the set.
The deciding set was tight. Both players served well and there were no bp’s in the first 8 games. Krejcikova served at 4-4 and had to save 4 bp’s to take a 5-4 lead. Kenin was broken in the next game.
Krejcikova won 6-4, 2-6, 6-4.
