  1. Love how one of these was like 'say yes to editing male pxrn' and another was 'don't say yes to everything', where do u draw ur lines Phil

  2. I wish I'd understood earlier that not having a career plan you're passionate about does not make you lazy or a failure! It took me way too long to realise I don't have a 'dream job' because simply living/being content/experiencing cool things with the people I love is what's more important to me. Don't get me wrong, I think it's amazing that some people know from a very young age they want to be a teacher or a nurse etc…but I always thought I was weird because I didn't have that but it's perfectly normal!

  3. as a 20 year old (who has been watching you for 8 years!!) thank you for this 🙂

  4. I would tell myself “don’t get in the truck with your uncle” you won’t be the same when you get out

  5. I would tell myself to start Community College before university. I ended up doing that, but I didn’t trust myself, and I didn’t start for like three years. I don’t regret anything now, but I wish I had started earlier.

  6. I'm almost 20, such a coincidence 😀 Honestly you were the first person I heard speaking about how virginity isn't important to anyone. I'm so glad somebody told me because I would only feel bad about myself, even though I don't want to have sex yet. It would just be there, the feeling I'm behind. Thanks a lot 🤍

  7. I subscribed to YouTube when I saw Phil's Isle of Man video.
Then I was fortunate enough to discover "The Box."
I'm not sure Dan could have gotten to where he got to without Phil. Eventually, it became clear to me for my opinion how horribly unashamedly Dan used Phil when he wrote "Philussy" on a birthday cake presented in front of Phil's very sweet mother & she didn't understand. That's when I unsubsidized from Dan & Phil Ganes

  8. As someone whose about to be 26 I agree with so many of these already! My important advice is accommodate to yourself and your mental health for things you spend a lot of time doing. For me it was finding remote work, it allows me to be able to work full time without going nuts and I have a social life, travel, etc.

  9. That friendship you're feeling become more and more exhausting is actually toxic already and will end abruptly. Their trauma isn't an excuse for treating you badly, and continuing to give grace will just be interpreted as "evidence" that they couldn't be the one in the wrong.

Get some better equipment and record every meeting with your department to the fullest extent permitted by law. Be glad you're in a 1-party consent state for recording.

Don't agree to use State Farm Drive & Save when on your parents' insurance. Just don't.

  10. I would tell myself to get help sooner. Being suicidal and harming yourself is no way to live and its not normal. You'll be happy that you got help. =)

  11. I would tell myself to stay away from troubled kids homes as they only gave me more trauma unlike helping me as they were supposed to

  12. I feel like you putting this out now was great timing, as a lot of your viewers that grew up watching your content are now in their 20s

  13. I only wear jeans when I'm going out somewhere like school or something else. Unless it's to meet people I know and I was already wearing sweatpants.

  14. 7:35 FR 😭 i only saw a class on taxes ONCE in college and i couldn’t take it cause it conflicted with a class i HAD to take for my major… and then i never saw that class listed again

  15. One advice I'd give my younger self: don't go and get a Master's degree just to stick along with your crush. He's a massive narcissist and not worth a second of your time, let alone 2 years of your life. Having a Master's degree IS cool, but you're going to plan a career change shortly after getting it, so it's kinda pointless. =)

  16. Turning 20 in 2 months. Very scared. Been watching u since i was like 11 i think so this is cool cheers

  17. Such a fun and oddly comforting video !! I would tell my younger self to trust herself more (nobody knows you like you do) 😀

  18. omg. i just realised im not subscribed to you even though ive been watching living and breathing you since 2014, my sincerest apologies

  19. When I entered my twenties I have to I had to learn a lot from these sort of mistakes, one of which revolving around my asexuality where this gossipy person told 'my secret' that I thought someone we worked with was cute. She went straight to them and told them that I wanted to date them (I didn't, I just said they were cute, because they were objectively attractive) and I had to have this super awkward conversation with them because of that. Never talked to her again after that. But I at least found out the person I said was cute was asexual too, so it wasn't all bad. They were the first ace I met in the wild. It was nice despite the circumstances for how we came to know that about each other.

So yeah, don't trust the gossip types, especially with secrets.

Also thanks for the shoutout Phil, nice to be acknowledged and appreciated by people.
