This 2001 Honda Prelude Type SH has 13,800 original miles and is “Supercharged” producing 250+ horsepower. This car is in show quality condition throughout. The Honda Prelude is a sports car that was produced from 1978 until 2001. The fifth generation Prelude was from 1997-2001 and a total of 58,118 were produced. In 2001, a total of 11, 428 Preludes were produced. Only 1,554 (13.6%) of them were painted Premium White Pearl. Only 3,120 (27.3%) were the Type SH model. The Type SH model stands for “Super Handling”. The Type SH option was the addition of Hondas active torque transfer system also called ATTS. The ATTS is an electronic system that distributed torque to the outside drive wheel in cornering situations. As documented on the clean Car Fax report this car originally purchased at Bell Honda located in Phoenix, AZ on January 4th, 2002. The original owner also lived in Florida where it was titled and registered on December 13th, 2002. On February 11th, 2005 the original owner titled and registered the car in Arizona. Car Fax has the original owner as the second owner. The original owner sold the car on February 15th, 2011 to the second owner in Arizona. The second owner moved to Clackamas, OR and titled and registered the car on December 10th, 2015. The second owner sold the car to the third owner on September 19th, 2019. The third owner purchased the vehicle for re-sale. MS CLASSIC CARS purchased the car from the third owner. This car is really a two owner car. The black factory interior is in showroom condition throughout. The interior is flawless and still smells new. Some of the factory options include a power sunroof, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, cruise control, leather shift knob and air conditioning. It’s equipped with a gauge pod on the driver side pillar that includes a Jackson Racing Boost and Air/Fuel gauge that work excellent. It also is equipped with Momo pedals that feel great when driving. The trunk compartment is also in excellent condition. The engine compartment is highly detailed throughout with no signs of oxidation. It retains all the factory stickers, tags and paint marks. The car is powered by the 2.2 liter VTEC Inline 4-clyinder engine with Jackson Supercharger. The factory 2.2liter VTEC Inline 4-clyinder engine was rated at 200HP. The Jackson Supercharger adds an additional 50+ horsepower bringing it to 250+HP. The Jackson Supercharger kit including the engine management system was installed by the Honda dealership when the car was newer. It has a Jackson Racing ignition and red wires. The controllers were concealed in the glovebox. It has Jackson Racing red covers on the clutch fluid reservoir, power steering pump and radiator. It’s also equipped with a AEM intake. The engine runs excellent with no issues what so ever. The engine breathes through DC Sports headers and downpipe. It has a custom exhaust with chrome muffler and dual exhaust tips which sounds amazing. The engine is coupled with the factory 5-speed transmission which shifts very smoothly through all the gears. The undercarriage is original and very clean with no signs of oxidation. It’s equipped with Koni shocks at all four corners.
