2014-2016 F150 BDS Fox 2.5 Remote Reservoir Coilovers for 6" Lift Install

Getting a 6″ lift kit that either includes longer factory-replacement front struts or even worse pair of strut spacers means that you’re not getting the kind of performance that your truck really needs to romp around off-road with impunity. That’s why our friends over at BDS teamed up with the good folks over at Fox Shocks to develop this powerful and heavy-duty coilover kit specifically for 2014-2016 F150s with massive 6″ lift kits. These finely-tuned and custom-designed Fox 2.5 Remote Reservoir Coilovers are some of the most rugged and high-performing off-road suspension products out there for F150s with 6″ lift kits and will give your truck a huge improvement in response, articulation, and fade reduction over stock struts and OE-style lift struts. These BDS Fox Coilovers drop right in place of your truck’s stock strut/spring assembly and even feature extra ride height adjustability to go beyond your current lift kit’s 6″ height for even more wheel clearance and tougher look.

  1. Does the coilovers come in adjusted for 6inch ride height or do you have to adjust it yourself?

  2. Hey men The reservoir bottle bracket needs to be flipped up whenever you riding your truck on the video it seems like it is about to hit the bottle I have the same set up all you have to do is flip the bracket around to make it higher

  3. I’ve got the 6” dsc ones on my 15 F-150, I thought they would have a better on road ride than my stock shock with 6” spacer. Is there any adjustment? I’ve lowered preload and it helped but still rides pretty stiff

  4. I bought these directly from BDS and they are made for BDS lifts only I found out after the purchase. They sell a $50 spanner wrench if used will void the warranty and if you install on other lifts that voids the warranty as well. They are listed on my receipt as 4.0 to 5.5in lift. With a Pro Comp 6” lift they sit to low. Adjusted spanner nut up .5” for an additional 1” and is still low. The adjustment is 1-2 ratio so I had to go 3/4” for the 1.5” lift I needed to level the truck. After adjusting the ride is harsh but I can deal with it fine. But BDS are pure assholes and told me retailers are not explaining that they are not to be adjusted and to only be sold for their lifts leaving buyers out of luck on warranty issues. Stage 3 MotorSports is one of those retailers that do not disclose all this info. Buyer beware.
