23. The 1 billion spent is very overblown.
    Around half of the money spent is out on loan.
    This new ownership is investing in a new model to bring in stable income.
    It’s ridiculous how despite winning all those trophies, Chelsea still ended up 2 billion in debt with no new stadium and still behind the likes of Arsenal in revenue.

    Some may not like it but it’s smart for a club to not to have to rely on CL money to make ends meet.

    That being said, of course the results on the pitch can be better. But for fans to act like it has to be one or the other are delusional.
