2. Great video man! Wonderful to see you. I never had a Dreamcast but the two games I always wanted to play when it came out was "RE: Code Veronica" and "Soul Calibur." I got to finally play "RE:CVx" when it came out on the ps2 and LOVED IT!!! Haven't played "SC" yet. Thank you for the video and I hope you and yours are doing well.

7. Is that twinkle stars game on the Dreamcast the same as the neo geo game that you can download on the switch? Also the Parodius games are pretty damn fun too if you’re looking for weird shooters.

10. your videos really kinda pushed me over the edge to get a saturn – i got one like 5 days ago. i kept coming back to your sf zero 2 and 3 reviews a bunch over the last year. and sega lord x. i picked up zero2 and … its really as good as everyone says. now to get sega rally, puyo sun and layer section and i think i gots me a pretty good starter kit. i know this is a dreamcast video but. jim is a gangster

14. Cool ones….out of these games i only lack the Vampire game (i ll buy it, eventually but for now i m fine with the ss and ps1 games and the ones in the Capcom Arcade Stadium 2), Giga Wing 2 and Twinkle Star Sprites (i played my Neo Geo Mini version though and i m fine with that :P)

15. I would like to start a Dreamcast and Saturn collection but it's hard collecting for either one because all the good games are over in Japan but hopefully I will be picking up a Sega Saturn soon it's just trying to find good games for it

17. I recently had a dream about picking up the 14th and final Shenmue game released on the Dreamcast Mark 2 in this Anno Domini 2022. I kinda wish I didn't wake up 🍃

19. Rival Megagun is a recent game that used the Twinkle Star Sprites formula. It was pretty good! Certainly worth a look for anyone interested in a versus shmup.

20. Well you know what the say about retro gamers being huge into Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, and PC Engine, they tend to be the most cultured of retro gamers this side of PS1 and PS2 gamers.

22. Great games here, Vampire Chronicles is one I'd like for my DC collection but always seems quite pricey to get imported over here in UK ✌️

23. I switched to exclusively Japanese import Dreamcast and Saturn games due to the insane NTSC prices. Capcom in my opinion I stand behind at least 90 percent of everything they have ever made from 8 bit to this day. Konami as well actually. So many fond memories. My current goal is to finish collecting for the Casio Loopy. Yes I know it’s aimed at females lol. Japanese exclusive console with a 10 game library. More of a shelf piece. Excellent stuff as always Jim. I could watch hundreds of videos in this series format. Points for the NOTLD shirt. Huge Romero fan here.

25. yknow I forgot to say hope you had a good break from the youtube stuff! not as familiar with most of these shmups but suppose I could pick up some of these since they're on switch! I never knew Vampire Chronicle was just Hyper Darkstalkers in the same style as Hyper SF2, that's kinda cool! JOJO I played around with a bit in MAME, I might have to give it another try, I do kinda dig the anime series so may need to revisit it soon!!

26. Jim – you were an airman, right? Watching you pilot that helicopter I thought it might be fun to see you do a show based around realistic Air Force type games. Just a thought.

27. This video is killing me. I built up a fun Dreamcast collection by scooping up the bargain bins after the system was cancelled. But at the time, I wasn’t into shmups, 2D fighters, etc. That stuff was passé. That’s what PlayStation owners had. So even though they were dirt cheap, I left them in the bargain bin. In particular, every store had Mars Matrix and no matter how cheap, nobody wanted it. How times change.
