The in-game start date for the episode was Sydenstar 15 in the year 843. Sam’s gas can says “__ Minutes Since Major Lore Drop” with updated timing as lore drops occurred throughout the episode. Later he changes the whole thing to “It's Been 1 Week Since You Looked At Me”

New York by Night is a Vampire: The Masquerade show on the World of Darkness YouTube channel. I love Vampire, I love Aabria Iyengar doing a NY accent, and I love Alex Ward getting to be a Tzimisce. Worth checking out if you’re into VTM.

Any moments I missed? Feel free to post them here. Is it Thursday yet?

  2. Would it be posssible to ask guests to dress in such a way as to avoid side boobs and related adult content? Thank you.

  3. I think quite a few of the group are onto Erika. Travis 100% is and so is Sam. Sam's reaction to Erika repeatedly suggesting he fly said it all for me. Ashley has also been actively following what has been going on between Matt and Erika.

  4. I know a struggle I had when I had done some of my own DMing, I wanted to give the players the ability to do back story themselves in game and such. What I admire here is it always seems seemless where there is really in depth character development happening without much interjection.

So I wonder how much is prepared from Matt or between characters or is it more improvised/prepared individually and shared, and matt will just naturally make that the truth. I am uncertain how to balance that.

  5. Why is the guest player so freaking obnoxious? She goes to laugh but you could tell it's forced and fake and then she just screams.

  6. Erica starts being sneaky again with her character Dusk. 56:06 picks up her die and rolls it then starts texting back and forth with Matt

  7. "How are you related yo your grandmother?" Is sich a suspicious question! It presupposes that there would be confusion. A slight tell.

  8. New girl has NO memory of where she learned her considerable sword skills… STILL no insite check! Meanwhile, everyone insite checks each other over their favorite cereals!

  9. Chutney "I'm flexible"
    Insite check!
New girl that just happens to be looking for Fern's parents….no insite check necessary!…

  10. Lol at Dusk trying to control the whole situation. Like even if they were truly good there is almost no reason for the group to trust him. “Hey person we saved from being ambushed by a large group a few days ago and has no recollection of how they got here…..please tell us how to DEATH RUN”

  11. 2:47:25 I know this community is all about the “love each other” ideology but Erika is so obnoxious.
I get that they’re all excited about Ashley’s roll and her general shenanigans here but Liam had to tell Erika to be quiet (which makes me feel I’m not alone in my thoughts about her) so that Matt could be heard. Being excited is one thing but the yelling and screaming is so unnecessary.

  12. Just now realized… If the skirmisher technically counts as a creature then Fearne or FCG could technically guidance it.

Now Imagine FCG just patting the car saying "you got this"

  13. The fuck is Matt's face doing at 55:04 ?:D My only guess is that he decided to rehearse something, while listening to Imogen and Laudna talk.

  14. got a horrible flashback of the four horsemen from Naxx at that camera shot of the crawlers. next episode has got CHAOS written all over it.

  15. You ever meet a player, and they're really good, but the person themselves is … not someone you want to be around? This Erica, to me. I don't like her, and hope not to see her in future games. She's not a good person. But, I really like her RP.

  16. On a side note… Them thinking of spells… Levitate would be hysterical offensively. The driver suddenly has to hold the wheel to prevent being left behind… Any bump would knock the shotgun person up and out of the vehicle…. Hehehe

  17. The duel between Orym and Dusk was phenomenal. For a person with little to no imagination like me: they both did an amazing job describing their moves.
