  1. Shredderator is 1. A dumb name, and 2. A pretty poor design. Only the fact that Jager is weaker gave Shredderator a chance at a win.

  2. Why is this show constantly pushing and promoting this Faruk guy? He is in every ad for the show, the two narrators constantly are extolling his virtues, his face is pasted on all the promos….I just do not get it. All he does is make up dumb rhymes about the combatants and announces the winners?

  3. I wish that Jaeger would work.. I wish cluster bots would work. They just never do.. it's so unfortunate, because it could open up the possibilities a lot, but the weight difference is just a big problem. Low vertical spinners are the best one for a cluster bot, and most people go with horizontals- the mini sawblaze was a cool idea, I really like Jaeger, it's just not in the realm of physics for cluster bots to perform well…

  4. Multi bots are the dumbest thing ever way to light might as well make one good bot like fusion if want two different weapons

  5. Cap needs the hammer point shell back, the wings a way more awkward and hit the arena wall often, he beat tombstone with the hammer points they can clearly pack a punch

  6. I can't imagine the multibot strategy ever working. A 125lb bot will not be able to do any damage and will get annihilated by a 250lb bot. Maybe a multibot that is one 200lb bot and a 50lb utility bot could be viable. But even then I can't imagine what the 50lb bot is going to do that is useful.

  7. They should allow weapons to spin up to full speed before the countdown. It would make stuff more interesting

  8. Wish they'd get rid of that Furaq guy that does those annoying cringing cheesy rhyming intros. The show could shave off a good 10 minutes without it. I do feel sorry for his pride having to do that.

  9. Correct me if I'm wrong, but are the teams funded by BattleBots? I'd imagine the show wants good competitors, so I imagine it pays/reimburses for raw materials and repairs for all of the teams..

  10. A lot of people talking about bad sportsmanship, so I'll leave this here from the team Jäger facebook page:

"Going into the fight we agreed the following with Brian Nave: If the green bot dies, please leave it alone. It was built by a teammember who couldn´t make it to filming due to visa issues. But if the pink one dies, go for it. Give the viewers what they want to see.

So now fast forward to the end of the fight. Green bot dead, pink one being counted out. I´m shouting towards the shredderator team "Hit it!!!", but they can´t hear it due to the loud background noises. The countdown ends pretty much at the same time as their final hit. Brian immediately excuses himself for the late-ish hit. Apparently they haven´t been informed that we are getting counted out.

So in conclusion there is no bad blood between our teams and we both agree that the last hit made the fight better."

  11. What’s the deal with multi-bots? Do you basically have to keep the combined weight under a certain amount, or do they have to have the same control?

  12. I think this means that Captain Shrederator, at 2-1, is probably gonna be in the final episode before the tournament to see if they make it
