1. Sad but many Assamese living in cities and towns of are unaware that almost 15 districts and around 243 villages of Assam are reeling under fury of flood.
   I talked to one of my friends and asked aur btao Assam main kya chal raha hain?
   N his reply was kuch nahi.
   And when I said kyun Assam main to flood aaya hua hain.
   His reply was Guwahati main to nahi hain.
   I wasn't surprised then by his reply, but then after a few hours I felt a pain for my people .
   Many people are crying , suffering and are being displaced.
   Assam is divided between villages and cities.
   No one is there to hear or listen to the plight of the poor people.
   Please if you have power in your hands , do something for your own people.
   They are innocent village people.
   Subansiri is a beautiful name, jia bhoroli is a beautiful name , mohabahu Bhrahmaputra gombhir laage huni, kintu aami likhi thaakile ba koi thaakile nohobo. We must try to save our land from erosion, save our people from the plight of flood that visits Assam every year. Majuli khon bosai diok. Xhohi xhohi Edin naikia hoi jabo.

   Save Assam from floods .
   N our common topic in 10th boards exams essay paper used to be "baanpani".
   N the introductory line used to be
