This is the lucky 13th year for BC Bike Race, but my luck ran out pretty quickly. After a solid prologue stage and being seeded in 200th place, things go awry. Today’s race is broken up into two timed stages, and I killed the first stage. Not so much the second.

Can't trust those battery operated shifters. Nothing beast direct connection with cables. Less to go wrong or at least you can figure out what's wrong.

The valve core was fine. Lezyne pumps unscrew removable valve cores when you screw them off. I've had the same issue.
The others compete for race，but you shred the trails with so much fun!

Hi! I know I'm reviving an old thread but just wondering what wheels you are on and the ID? I'm looking at some nobl tr32's and 33's and they are made in BC and if they could handle this i'm getting a set.
So, what was the take-away from that flat you got? We’re you just riding those light tires too hard? If so it didn’t seem worth it. If that’s the case, would it be better to ease off on the descents, or ride with some beefier tires and just accept the added weight?
