This video shares my views on the recent Bet365 sports betting fraud case. Using multiple accounts for matched betting is against sports betting company’s terms, but doesn’t appear to be illegal so there must have been more going on here.

  1. Don't encourage it mate. First thing I suggest is people fuck the likes of bet365 and all the other scamming betting sites that when they lose they throw there toys out the pram. 😂😂

  2. People gotta campaign to get this man out of jail.

It is not fair to cage a human for years for petty crimes against giant greedy companies.

Taking his money away would be enough of a punishment, given that he still put tim and effort into it, and if all he did was multi accounting, then zero punishment at all.

  3. ANOTHER BULL5HIT crap story.. NO one was jailed. NO ONE was the winner of 236. you coyuld look at the fake news on 23/6 to see what this is pointing to.

  4. I am glad I got over my gambling addiction because the companies really are insanely predatory with their tactics to retain you. You get drip fed dopamine tactically to keep you returning endlessly.

  5. Lawyers for big business are always into the 'profit protection' game, they won't chase 'mug'punters for the same activity, as no profit was made. A clear application of the 'rules' being subject to profit making accounts only. I doubt if long time losing accounts get similar or any scrutiny, but manage one lucky 'once in a lifetime' win, and that account will be scrutinised for a reason not to pay. Or as others have said, become better at gambling, winning more regularly, and they will simply close the account, with no reasonable explanation.

  6. I won 7,500k on a 20cent bet on paddy and they suspended my account for about week, I had to re verify my account, they had not problem taking my money but when I won they made it very hard for me to take it out. I was down about 1500 so when I won my losses went from – 1500 to +6000 I can see why still bullshit tho

  7. Surely the bigger crime here is the betting companies restriction of winning accounts? They only allow losing accounts to use their platforms. How does the government allow these companies to operate

  8. this guy goes on different tangents to explain why the guy got jailed…just get to the point already, then bring in the context ! Reminds me of my wife 🙂

  9. It's a very negative buisness that only seems to take advantage of weak people, it should be wiped from the face of the earth, essentially legal theft

  10. 1000 accounts is 1000 bonuses for first deposit. They are picking a winning target but don't make it sound like the guy is clean.

  11. This is really interesting. Im bet restricted on in-play cricket on 888. I assumed it was just the site, but this implies they know i win on it and so they've removed my ability. Very interesting.

  12. For me there should be more done about those with gambling addictions, if someone is placing a bet/s winning and then doing a chargeback about a transaction then I can understand why the likes of these betting companies would want to protect their business.
Where as someone who constantly wins?? Either due to a lucky guess in the likes of the grand national, football or having figured out some tip off/loophole/exploit then maybe te industry should look into it further rather than punish someone who maybe innocent of having accidently came across a winning combination in a couple of bids.

  13. I am Barr's from coral/ Ladbrokes. I along with another mate found that around a certain time of the day that the race had run, but was able to bet on the winner mostly dogs and virtual races as they are around 1 minute and the blip usually lasted about 1. 20 seconds. We got about £50000 through a period of 6 months my past attempt before being barred was £3750 on 3 bets. Never took me to court as it would have revealed a fault in corals system.

  14. Simple never gamble online the house always wins … and if you do dont break terms of service . Its simple.

  15. It's rich of betting companies to accuse others of money laundering, your businesses' entire history is money laundering lol your ancestors were all in the mafia

  16. It's not bs, imo. They're still forging this system/industry. What they have done is set the precedent. So, the people you spoke of, the people who have lost by using multiple accounts, now have a solid case to sue them. So, people should start doing that, before they are bankrupt from litigation. …. If someone does sue and the case does not make it to a decision for any reason related to, 'no basis', THEN you will have complete bs, and a mockery of justice.

Comes down to, it was a terrible move by BET365, and it will probably cost them, and maybe all bookmakers, their business. .. unless they get serious about banning losers just as well.

Because they simply do not investigate losers, they'll get away with playing dumb, on the first lawsuits, but then they will be responsible

What is bs, though, actually, is the fact that the cops got involved at all, at this level. BET3365's policies are NOT criminal law, and there are no laws refering to their policies in any way shape or form. My insurance agent ripped me off for years by lying about what coverage I needed when financing a car. She profited from it for years. The cops don't want to hear about it somehow that is not fraud?? If he was somehow able to cheat them by using multiple accounts, ok, then there are laws for that, but, making legal bets that are offered by the house, but doing so to overbet the maximum, that should not be criminal, but he should have to give the money back, because they were never willing to gamble that much with him.

That's the same reason used above, why they should return it to the losers with multi accounts. And, if the cops are involved at this level, then why are they not arresting BET365 executives on the same cuff they arrested this guy? They broke their own policiy every bet they accepted from a multiple account holder. The criminal bar should be the EXACT same, for punter, and house, but the house does get a slight bias civilly. Mainly because they have stated their policies up front, the punter does not. They invest in infrastructure that benefits everyone, and if they are legit, they deserve civil protection. But NOT criminal protection.

That's not how it is, but I'm saying it needs to be, or there is no point in a criminal justice system at all. Companies have learned well, how to legitimize criminal behavior, by getting it treated as civil jurisdiction. The criminal code, if written properly, should not be subject to interpretations that separate citizens and corporations regarding their willful acts. Except where there are laws specifying a companies unique rights, obviously. i.e. property ownership

    Peace

  17. Gambling comission and government cooperates with bookie's as this is money for them, they all scams….they are working together

  18. Not sure why people think this isn't fraud. I was a gambling addict for 5 years and it cost me a lot financially. Often I was working month after month for over 2 years for literally no money, every penny I had coming out was going straight back out again, to repay payday loans that I'd used the money to gamble on.

That said if he quite clearly breaches the terms and conditions of their site, they can ban him. If he then creates further accounts each time to continue using the site, and makes money out of it, it will be argued that it is fraud as they have closed his original account and do not wish to have any further business with him. As a private company they're entitled to do this, in the same way that your local builder could refuse to provide building services to you or your local pub could refuse to serve you if they wanted to, no private company is obliged to do business with anybody.

Clearly his involvement in this had more to it, involving possible chargebacks (a form of fraud on it's own in this situation) and potentially making use of bonuses or "Free bets" applied to each of the syndicate's 1000 accounts to profit from.

It's no wonder he was convicted of fraud.

  19. Bet 365 is corrupt all online betting is a con ,and the government and gambling licences should open there eyes .nothing is honest very corrupt if you win they will make it harder to win next time .look in to it with the whistle blowers on you tube that work for online gambling beware of the rats 🐀

  20. Honestly, I hope someday someone will manage to storm down and literally bankrupt these gambling companies. I know gambling is a mental disease, but these companies aren't doing shit against this addiction, even though they say they are. Yeah right, you give an addicted person bonuses to bet and then say that you aren't doing anything wrong. Piss off. This trend needs to stop and I hope it will be a buble that will burst soon and die down just aswell as it rose up.

  21. Came by this via algorithm. You right. But it is not oxygen or water. Don't gamble.

  22. Can't believe how they are treating the Honourable John Howard. This is sure to increase Aus/UK Tensions even further

  23. this vid is pure bullshit, i work in this industry (not bet 365) but players wont be jailed unless they launder money..

  24. People would be better of investing in something then to gamble. Gambling is a mugs game and as is explained here the house is against you and will prevent u from winning.
