  1. There are automation software which is made easy to program.

Scalping and other monotonous task can be automated, tennis can be automated too.

  2. After a couple of weeks of bets, no more than £3.50 each one so not even a fiver, Bet365 have restricted my account. I was winning regularly. This should NOT be allowed. It's OK for them to not have restrictions when they win against us so why should it be allowed the other way around?

  3. Great as usual caan, can you do a video for people that blow a cylinder head gasket when things start to go wrong

  4. I had thought about automation to take out my emotion, which as a newbie, has cost me my bank a few times but I'm learning from it. Great video as usual thanks.

  5. Woot, little story nothing to do with this video but….. I just won with Mr. Moondance, Downpatrick@15:20, 20/1 (21), Happy Days!! Ok, so very next next race I bet the fav "Hidden Spark" to place, it wins and I'm thinking "Yeah Boi, doing well"…. Then I notice that I put a LAY bet in by mistake after being so happy with the last race, HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA, what a noob. Lucky it was only a small bet and odds-on. Edit: Ok, just got Zagato to place in the next race, feel better now.

  6. Dude (Caan) you are spot on with your observations. I/we use the BF paid API to run various bots so I have a little experience in this area, but I'm only a semi-nerd as my business partner is the 100% nerd who does all the "heavy lifting" with the coding. Hope he doesn't see this, lol. Basically as you have said, unless one really knows what they're doing it will be very difficult. There are so many variables I won't even go into it, but I will say that non-tech (or non-nerd) people should be very careful when thinking they'll be able to take some third-party app like Betangle, Gruss etc…and use the simple templates to make some profitable system. IMO 99% of the time it will not happen and no one will tell you how to be profitable with some magic template. One has to know exactly what to look for and research variable statistics (you will not find these stats publicly) AND you have to have the ability to make you own applications or spend a sh£tload of money to have others develop the concepts of which they might just steal your ideas. I have a very good nerdy partner who I fully trust so that's my way of dealing with the tech side past what I can't do myself. Lastly I'll mention it's not only trading that can be automated, some types of betting can be also (profitably), but really, you have to know what you are doing big time. I wish those that do have a go the best 🙂 PS: I use Gruss to place manual bets every day as there is no use to make a user interface for such a simple thing. Might get around to making my own UI for straight betting someday, who knows.

  7. While I agree that if trying to compete with the big-boys, then forget it, but in it's most basic terms, by eliminating emotion, you have an edge over yourself, which is a plus plus, as I'm sure you'll agree.
For a lay the draw strategy or backing overs at half time or even in-play 3 tick offset scalping – to name a few – these can really easily be 'programmed' in Fairbot without need for MSExcel skills or Phd in computer science.
The language is different, so yes, it does need some time and a basic understanding, but within a few YT vids and a day of experimentation, you could program all three, with zero understanding, if you armed with a bit of common sense.
It's the tweaking and testing that takes the time, but If you already have a successful >2.5goals strategy for example, this can easily be translated to run on autopilot for every single match for every hour of the day should you so wish.
One of my major hurdles has been panic when seeing a big bet come in on the other side of the book & getting scared out for no reason. Automation doesn't give a shit about matey's 4 grand lay!
Not sure if it was you recommending this book back in the day, Caan, but Chimp Paradox is probably the most powerful and must read for everybody starting out.
Train your inner chimp and the markets will beg you for mercy! lol

  8. Another great video caan putting In That Content 👌👌👌 I have started to look at automation this week so great to hear your views

  9. Caan question do you use dutching as a veering strategy? If so can you do a video on it? Thanks a lot.

  10. What software do you recommend for automation? Lot of folk mention betfairbot in addition to using something like geeks.
Automation can be good for gathering data. You hear newbies saying “why don’t you just lay the fave pre off?”
Automation can do that while you are at work. Use £2 back & lays then look at the results
Betangel has very good servants that monitor the market for conditions you set & can be used inplay
