Betfair trading | In-play betting delay | How have people beaten it?

For FREE Betfair trading courses – Visit www.betangelacademy.com

Whenever you place a bet or trade in play on the Betfair exchange. You will find a delay is placed on that bet. Your trade will not reach the market until the delay has been applied.

Lots of people have seen this and thought “If only I could beat that delay I could become hugely profitable”

In this video we look at why the in play delay is in place and what people have done to get around it. Towards the end of the video, there is also a story about how people legitimately bypassed the delay and how you can get a live feed from a football stadium without having to do anything dodgy!

  1. I have never learnt anything of Peter . I find his delivery very boring and his constant lip smacking is soul destroying . Bet angel is the reason I turned my recommendations off on you tube

    Good luck

  2. Was listening to the Newcastle v Watford at the weekend on fm radio( 15 jan) As SOON as the goal was announced on the radio, the market was suspended with no delay.

  3. I'm not sure I fully understand inplay delay. What I specifically want to know is if I'm watching exchange odds fluctuating on an event that is in play and I see the odds hit 2.0 and I place a bet (with enough liquidity) will it match straight away or is there a delay before it matches? And if there is a delay will it still match at the price I entered the market even though the odds may have changed?

  4. Peter how do I improve my AM signal inside the house, its so bad I can't hear a thing and have to switch to digital cheers

  5. Good video but I thought the topic should have been more towards – should the Betfair delay even exist on Horse Racing. When I place a In-Play bet on the Horse Racing it's more like 3 seconds from when I click to when the money hits the market. In a fast-flowing market that is a long time. It should be instantaneous exactly like in pre-off racing markets. And don't give me all this crap about my Computer being slow or my Wifi isn't fast enough. It is Betfair who are delaying the ability to place money into the In-Play Horse Racing Markets because I guarantee you there are employees or privileged accounts where this delay does not exist and they clear up…… one-second my arse………. for us mere mortals it's 3 seconds at least.

  6. There was a national stock market scam in our country a year or two ago where the big brokerage houses who had acess to the exchange prices which was 3-5seconds earlier were betting against their clients and making huge profits, there were international companies involved aswell like jp morgan, etc when a trader exposed this scam and filed a case in supreme court the exchange board had to start an investigation but as soon as the investigation started suddenly the brokerege houses which were reporting profits in millions daily fell by 90%-99% and many of them started reporting losses but by the time investigation ended everyone(even the last prick standing) was given a clean chit. The patch was fixed that is what the investigation team said and they couldn't find any proof against any of those pricks but the figures clearly said that a scam was sucessfully executed and their coming generations will enjoy the spoils of it.

  7. The rádio FM AM is realy more fast but in football didnt work because you need to place One bet minimum 5 ,8,12 secounds and the Betfair suspend the market before you place your bet

  8. in my opinion betfair should not interfere with this if this is just clearly between players and not between them and players i do see why they did changed it but they still not pay the price. i do not like when are markets constantly suspended and you can not do nothing 5 minutes and match is going on. what if there are people want to take a risk and go into such play. its up to them but like this is betfair interfere too much with what can traders do and what can not. imo there should be both options available and trader can decide which want to choose.

  9. wireless still wouldnt work as there is the countdown once you place your bet , I suspect certainly at the premier league games there is somone from the bookmakers or exchanges who flick a switch which puts the markets into suspended before you bet get matched, would be very handy on horse racing but know of no channels which transmit on am or fm, have tried myself to find the very excellent william hill racing radio on wireless, no chance unless someone else knows any difference ?
