Betfair trading – Trading crossover points on Betfair

You may already be familiar with the term crossover points, but I bet you don’t know where the name originated from!

I invented the term ‘crossover’ to describe the key point in the market where odds increments changes. This term now appears elsewhere, generally uncredited. But it’s an interesting point to examine the market.

That’s Peter Webb talks about in this video.

  3. Hi Peter, are you going to continue the football betting series please? I am in Australia and can't do in play betting. Thanks Doug

  4. So, a "crossover point" is a point of congestion caused by people wanting to take advantage of the change in the size of increments being displayed. OK – got it!

I didn't find this video as helpful as many of your other videos.

  5. Lots of food for thought here, Excellent upload from betangeltv, the Magnet Effect is something I have also heard in betfair trading circles, wondering if that too was born with Peter.
