Betfair trading – What is the perfect stake to use?

I did a video a little while ago on the staking options in Bet Angel so I thought I’d follow up with a video on how you should stake and what the perfect stake looks like.

  1. When you say double the volume weighted average for your stake do you mean total stake, as then do you split that stake into say 4 smaller stakes to get a good average entry

  2. Just found out this guy works with the bookmakers giving false tips. Has thousands of followers giving false info in return for a weekly income from the bookies.

  3. ok, for in race trading, using stake 2 and 5 simultanously, what should be optimal bank if you are trading on odds from 20-40 also you lay and back whole time, but you never put more than 10 only if you are 100% sure odds are going in your way

  4. Good advice regarding your closing position. I'd like to add, if I may, that it will always to easier to close trades when the odds are under 3 or 4 as there seems to be higher liquidity in those ticks. As always, look to close your position if it goes the wrong way. Dont sit there hoping it will come back, it might just get worse. Always use Risk Management maximum of 2% of your bank in any trade.

  5. As always your generalisation of optimal staking theory is excellent. Would you think it reasonable, if by abstract chance, i was able to take an annual profit that i may apply something like the Kelly Criterion to determining my daily 'risk' capital … ? I know that the HK teams never bet more than 0.015 (generally) of the parimutuel pools otherwise they are only winning their own money back again. Are there any guidelines for Betfair?

  6. There's that hard to fibd piece of the Jigsaw I was looking for…Thank you Peter for that golden nugget piece of info.

  7. I use a different size depending on the liquidity of the race. Where you can go for $ 500 the market will not feel, in another place you are rolled up to the height or to the bottom for this money.
