BLOWN AWAY by this +75mph Lamborghini of Escooters: but is it Worth It?

Is the Lamborghini of Electric Scooters Worth It? We review the Rion Apex from Rion Motors and Alien Rides.

The Rion scooters are the most requested eScooter that Andrew and I get asked to review. We had to travel to LA to get the opportunity to test them, but our trip was well worth it.

In this review, we test and review the Rion Apex as we head up to Griffith Observatory.

  1. I wanted to correct something that I mispoke on. There is actually suspension on the Rion Apex.

The Rion Apex uses urethane suspension in the rear that is molded for the specific scooter and rider. The suspension helps in two ways: It helps with vibrations and keeps it stable at high speeds.

The suspension is not soft; it is made to be stiff since the scooter is designed for high speeds and tight cornering.

  2. That thing is awesome. So you guys have extensive knowledge on these scooters. So I bought a Bronco Xtreme from ewheels like a month ago or a month and a half ago. I still have warranty. Obviously. My Bronco overheated on me 4 times already has left me stranded. Can’t find nobody to fix this problem. Ewheels I think is willing to give me a refund. What is the next best scooter compared to the Bronco? Thanks

  3. Nice work guys!!! Finally experienced the “Rion Power” I was hoping you were able to sample the “Thrust and the Noir” but I think the Apex was more than enough. Maybe another time.
I’m guessing a lot of potential buyers are viewing these detailed vlogs. Jimmy these micro-mobilities as you mentioned are the way of the future. However, it may not be for most but it sure may be for those targeted individuals. I really like to see these more on the roads. Again, great work!!! Ride safe and all the best!!!

  4. April 2020 I paid in full, $6322.50 for a Rion RE70. It’s now June 2022 and I have yet to receive a thing from Rion. Other than a bunch of promises and excuses from Gal.

  5. Anyone New reading this Trust me 20 to 30 is plenty fast on a scooter. I've rode bikes my whole life. 75 Equals Death. Physics evade some

  6. I have ebikes and scooters. Some things should be against the law. 75 really. Couple years after the deaths and lawsuits. Get back to me. Anything over 40mph. Apparently Life isn't important

  7. Not really that great a scooter for that price. The low stem, no suspension, no lights, no kickstand, a steering notch no one want or needs, and small deck makes it quite undesirable especially when you can buy a Nami that doesn't have all these faults and has more range. After upgrading the Nami with equivalent Rion parts like the Magura brakes, the Tronic 250 controllers, and PMT tires you'll end up with a better rounded scooter and no order wait time.

  8. I would sell both my Dualtron Storm and Thunder 2 so I could buy one of these. But the wait is so long just to get one.

  9. YES GUYS FINALLY YOU GUYS GOT ONE. I preordered mine back in April 2022 so cant wait to get mine and make a review on it but who knows when ill get my hands on it. estimate delivery time was september.

  10. Before ordering this scooter joint he Facebook Rion groups and do the research. Seems like people paid for their Rion scooter 2+ years ago and still haven’t received them. Seems like the only videos on YouTube of them are from testers and YouTube scooter channels. I don’t think they are set up to mass produce yet. Only safe way of buying would be if they actually had stock to buy..

Look at the Rion groups- people are begging for their money back and threatening to sue. Not a good look for Rion
