  3. ThAnK$ I am guilty of this behavior trying to time the market. Catch myself staring at charts waiting for a further down turn.. i do not have the money to invest that regularly. Minimal amount of $500 to avoid the brokerage fee, this would be a challenge for me.

  11. Hey Adrian! I’m confused here, when I buy shares of say TD, I’m always buying at different prices, so how do capital gains/losses work. Are they based off the average price or the price each share was bought at?

  12. in weathsimple, i can only invest using number of shares so when doing CDA, should the number of shares remain consistent?

  13. regarding DCA, in wealthsimple, it only lets you go with the number of shares you want to buy and not the $$ amount you want to invest in the stock so that means when doing DCA, we should be consistent with the number of shares we want to buy, correct?

  20. Hello Adrian, I would like to thank you for making all of these videos which are very useful for new investor. I would like to get your opinion in a situation I am debating on.

    I have a 2 yrs old new home in Alberta. Happens that I got a long term (5 yrs) job in Toronto. So I dont know what is best to do. Option #1 sell my home in Alberta and use that profit investing in dividend stocks or option # 2: rent and keep the property for later.

  32. Hi Adrian, is is possible to register a DRIP with the company itself? For e.g. I have some shares in wealthsimple, and some in questrade. If I decided to consolidate them into one place, then DRIP is possible from a conventional sense, but is it possible to get DRIP without this consolidation? Thanks for keeping the content coming, I think I can speak for a lot of us, we love your channel!
