Special thanks to the channel supporters!

Here at Sun Distributing, we believe that the supplier of the window film should know every aspect of the business. It makes it hard when a tinter or tint shop needs support but their supplier does not know the business from one end to the other. I started as a tinter helper in 1989 and worked my way up to the point of distribution. Along the way I have put together a successful retail tint shop and know every hurdle that a tinter and/or shop owner could face. I believe that there is an extreme value to having a company with our experience in the industry having your back.

There are many helpful apps and tools available, but most software out there are not designed to tackle the specific workflow and challenges that present themselves to tinters. Tint Wiz is a CRM app designed specifically for window tint companies. Book appointments, create proposals, send invoices, schedule jobs, manage tasks, and more.

  1. Dude. Thank you for making this video. This is the type of videos we need to see before deciding on tint. Tint shops should have videos of different cars they done from the inside and out to help people get a better perspective of what they really want

  2. I would believe it would be best with pro tint film rather than cheap Walmart tint
But anything under 5% in any of the windows is too much
I have 10% in all rear windows of my truck and 35% on all front windows and that’s perfect for driving during the day and night

  3. really, all I want is to block out the heat from the UV rays and the glare from the sun, but I don't think I could handle the purple! Really makes me stop and think about how dark I even want my back and door windows. I would be more worried about driving during the day and not seeing a car. I kind of already have a little bit of a blind spot on the driver's side of my truck because of my side mirror not quite getting everything in view. Night time, not so bad with head lights. I think I would go with 35 on the windshield and 25 on the doors and back window. I need to pay more attention to how that might actually look from inside! Great video, Matt!

  4. Anyone hear of the electric tint like in shower doors that fog up. Wonder if 5% and that film on top would work to black out the windows without the grey appearing from the outside

  5. If you are really good. You order black out flat glass film and shrink that to the glass window. Yes I said flat glass. It took me two hours to shrink my civic rear window but the payoff was worth it.

  6. Have fun driving at night hopefully you won't kill nobody of there child or yourself these type of things to me are ridiculously stupid a d irresponsible and dangerous immature all together, I mean come on seriously vehicles are big weapons and to do dumb as shit like this just increases chance of you killing or injuring someone bad or permanently I hear you laughing like it's funny your ass won't be laughing when u hurt someone or yourself be responsible fix it Wtf world comin to

  7. I met a guy around Seaside,FL , which is about halfway between Panama City and Destin, and he had two layers of 5%. That window was stupid dark in the Florida sun, I can’t even imagine what it looks like at night in the boonies

  8. You can get the new nano Aluminium and ceramic. That tint is made by Dupont and it laterally has no percentage. The reason it has no classification is because from the outside it is effectively 0% meaning nobody can see you….. However from the inside it is 100% clear.
It's a new expensive thing that cost $1000 just for one window. Made by Dupont

  9. Why do people want to tint the windshield. It's hard enough with light all around to see through lighter tinted side windows. On top of the fact most people don't drive worth a shit anyway its a dumb idea

  10. I live in jersey and tints are quite enforce by cops. I bought my car with 20% all around I believe. Been pulled over for them like 7 times in 3 years probably and ticketed about 3 of those times. The legal limit is anything in the back half and none at all in the front. If I put 30% or more do you think it would go unnoticed?

  11. I'm curious as to what state you're allowed to tint your windshield let alone tint that dark all around?

  12. What's super impressive is, the fact that you put that much time and effort just to make this video. Definitely deserves a👍

  13. Hi 👋
Dommage nous en France on as pas le droit de le faire sur le pare-brise.interdi , alors que sa donne un bon look 😉👍

  14. Whats a good brand and type of tint at 5% that i can use to practice with? i checked out tint depot and i cant find a roll im willing to drop cash on just to practice with unless its just the nature of the buisness and have to bite the bullet

  15. How is even 5% legal? Where I live you need at least 60% light going through in both directions lol

  16. This is very unsafe. Here I see cars getting 5 percent on the windshield. Very scary in my opinion. I don't even offer my clients anything lower than 10 percent. Just don't want to deal with any foolishness

  17. My car came with this horrible ghetto tint that i want to remove, what is the best way to remove it from the back window?

  18. This is just furthering the misunderstanding of tint percentages. So that's cool.

0% is exactly that, zero. These, are not "zero" obviously as you can see through them.
