Cash deposits above Rsm2.5 lakh to face tax, penalty on income mismatch. Government may imposed upto 200 per cent fine on black money. All banks and post offices will open on November 11 and people can exchange their old banned Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes worth upto four thousand rupees. Upto ten thousand rupees can be withdraw from the ATMs. There is no limit to submit the cash in banks. ATMs will be closed till 11th November.
Modi government has banned Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes to curb black money, terrorism, naxalism, drug menace, inflation and fake currency.
