how can the cop say you were 10% over the posted speed limit if he himself admitted to not knowing the posted limit? This would have been great in court. I would love to see this officer try to defend anything he did in front of a judge under oath under penalty of perjury.

I'm no math genius, but doing 27.5 mph in a 30 mph zone is 2.5 UNDER the speed limit, not OVER the speed limit. Oh God, maybe I am a math genius.
That cop would get laughed out of court. You mean to tell me that this police officer can see a 2.5 mph variation in either direction up or down? Seriously? That car is going 20 mph and that one over there is going 22 mph. If his eye is that good he would've been in MLB winning the Hank Aaron hitting award every year or he'd be the most walked payer in MLB history. How can you pitch to a guy that can see 2 mph difference with no radar gun, just the naked eye? That's not rhetorical either, I really want to know how you could pitch to this guy? I'll bet he can count hummingbird wing beats per second too.

Texas law states drivers must display their driver’s license upon request during a traffic stop. The cop was definitely wrong for pulling over this guy for those bogus reasons but the driver still needed to present his license.
