  1. 🏈 Cowboys vs Dolphins is one of the biggest NFL matchups this week. Are you on the side, total, or looking at player props? Let us know in the comments below 👇

  2. Miami's Defense needs to keep the pedal to the metal. And offense oline is so banged up they need to play mistake free football but the oline will have penalties

  3. The Cowboys did not shut down Josh Allen. The bills just ran the ball down their throat so they didn’t need to throw it all over the field.

  4. That Miami O line is a big concern against an angry Dallas front 7 that was embarrassed last time out v Buffalo. Takjng the Boys on the ML

  5. (1) The correct narrative is nether the Cowboys or the Dolphins have beaten a top team on the road. The Dolphins under McDaniel and Tua are nearly unbeatable at home. In a related location factoid, Dallas has a bad losing record playing on grass like the Hard Rock field in Miami.

    (2) The Dolphins are a schematic nightmare for the Cowboys.

On the running O, the Dolphins execute a zone blocking attack much like the Niners and have the most efficient run game in the NFL. The Niners ran all over Dallas. In this one, the Cowboys DL will lack Hankins to plug the middle and can be moved with misdirection, while the LB group lacks sand in the pants to stop RBs.

On the passing O, the Dolphins speed feasts on the man coverage the Cowboys employ. Because Dallas does not move around its CBs, expect McDaniel to create mismatches against the CB2 and the slot.

The Cowboys most favorable matchup should be their excellent pass rush vs an injured Dolphins OL. Expect the Dolphins to counter this the same way they did against the Jets with a run game, play action and Tua releasing the ball in a tick over 2 seconds.

On the D in general, the Dolphins have quietly developed the top defense in the NFL over the past few games since Jaylen Ramsey and multiple other players returned. During this period, the Dolphins are surrendering about 15 PPG, while the Cowboys are only scoring an average of 21 PPG on the road.

The Dolphins rushing D features PFF's top ranked run defender – ILB David Long and has not surrendered a 100+ yard rushing game to a RB in several weeks.

The Dolphins pass D features a four-man rush, with three among the top 30 in sacks, backed by a zone secondary featuring Ramsey and Howard at CB.

Because they almost never play two bad games in a row, I expect the Cowboys to rebound and keep this to about one score, say MIA 27, DAL 20.

  6. A contender should be able to beat winning teams. Imagine thinking a team that hasn't done that is going to do it several weeks in a row and on the road.

  7. I’m on the fence but I like the aggressive cap! MIA O line has a lot of injuries. If Jackson can’t go that is 4 OL starters out (I think). DAL has Tyron Smith doubtful and Martin questionable. Martin out would be a big deal I think.
