    Any moments I missed? Feel free to post them here. Is it Thursday yet?

  2. Essek has to be so confused with all the death threats, then a lil smooch, more death threats, an invite to join them and then MORE death threats

  3. Kinda weird how Matt was very adamant that Fjord wasn't wearing any armour, but he said nothing to the rest of the team. Even though they were all sleeping.

  4. I'm rewatching M9 campaign, and it still drives me nuts: why don't they have Yeza spend his time making potions for them? He's a master alchemist with massive funding and nothing better to do. He should be cranking out basic healing potions daily. Every time they stop in, Yeza could have a box full waiting for them.

  5. Ultimate pettiiness of Mercer during the sleeping in armor discussion…. Sleeping in armor does not result in a point of exhaustion per rules of 5e just maintains exhaustion if you already have it.

  6. Another classic example of Matt cheating encounters. Why would Fjord fall forward off the crows nest if he just got hit with force blasts? He tells great stories, but he gets petty.

  7. Sam covering his face at Laura coughing, then saying 'I don't want to get it back' at Travis coughing, while present me knows the COVID timeline (and noticing him coughing a lot during the Live Chicago show). So weird to think about how it didn't seem so serious right at the beginning.

  8. I think my favorite part about the Mighty Nein is when they are having serious conversations and they go to compliment each other it can only go in two directions either beautifully crafted well articulated genuine compliment or stumbling over a crush with a forced compliment

  9. Holy shit. After months of re-watching C2, I’ve finally caught up to where I stopped watching originally. This is all brand new content to me, it’s so strange to have no sense of recollection as I watch this episode.

  10. Travis: "Is taking a health potion an action or a bonus action"

    RAW: "It's an action"

    Matt: "It's a bonus action"

    Facts: Using a potion should require all of the following as individual actions spanning multiple rounds:
    * SheathingDropping your weapon.
    * Reaching into your bag.
    * Removing the potion from the bag.
    * Removing the stopper from the potion.
    * ConsumingAdministering the potion.
    * Replacing the stopper on the empty vial.
    * Reaching into your bag.
    * Depositing the empty vial into your bag.
    * If you dropped your weapon, squatting.
    * Recovering your weapon.
    * If you had to squat, stand ready.

    Of course roll a d20 to check for a failure. If the roll is too low, the potion causes harm instead of heal. They get a toxicity debuff which lasts until they complete a long rest which increases the potion's difficulty class and makes harm much more likely on the next use.

    This discourages players from abusing potions, but in a fun way in which they can enjoy.

  11. Years later, I still laugh at Matt describing the guy who was holding his action to cast eldritch blast on Fjord as looking "non-threatening". Yeah, O.K., Matt 😂
