We begin by telling you about Ederson’s early life and fledgling football career. We learn about his upbringing in Sao Paulo, how he started playing as an outfield player and hear from the coach who convinced him to become a goalkeeper, whilst we also find out about the agonising phone call which confirmed his unexpected release from his hometown club.
The second part chronicles his time in Europe, and the third part focuses on the influence he has had on goalkeeping and his life away from the pitch.
We’ll hear from numerous colleagues past and present, including City’s Director of Football Txiki Begiristain, as well as former Benfica manager Rui Vitoria and fellow Brazilian goalkeeper, Julio Cesar!

This was amazing, we dont know much of Ederson in Brazil, since he was never an idol of here. thanks City for this piece of film. It's huge the importance of a media such this one available in portuguese for these kids, i think it shows how much the club's trying to expand its relevance and tell our compatriots' achieving stories. Im in love with this as a marketer, as a brazilian football aficionado and as a city fan.
