It's OK stating all strategies have odds limits! When do you take the bet at what odds! Each game has different odds at different times during the game. If your trading goals the odds on over 2.5 would be short on a game where you have filtered for goals. You would find it difficult to enter at the same price at the same time for every game. A game filtered is more likely to have a goal before you hit your entry price!
Great video mate. Really interesting seeing the effects it has on the ROI. Is this results sheet and filter accessible anywhere on the Betfair Trading Community. I thought it would be a good strategy to use to start with due to the amount of selections.
Great video Martin, I was wondering what to do next with a strategy I'm testing. This helped a lot.
A question Martin , something i could not test before but there is a correct score line back lay etc well that is lucrative if you know what your doing , but here is the question there are also backing the correct scores and laying in higher numbers 5-4 7-3 for example is the laying the correct score in this part of betfair only for the that part of the correct score line or is it like laying the correct score line for the lower scores any score other than you layed for example lay a 1-0 and the game ends 8-2 .
As some times back in the day the ods looked not to bad of laying high score lines . Sadly i had never the opertunity to test it my self as it would be a great safe bet to lay a 6-1 and the game ended in 0-0.
Great video Martin, as someone who has recently done this with my own strategy, it really makes a big difference. I have a back over 0.5 1st half goals strat, and realised from my results that anything over 1.45 was losing over 50% of the time, i also noticed that any thing under 1.33 was also at a slight loss/no value. It really is important to record as mutch data as possible, because it will show you the way forward with your strategy. I am a bit apprehensive to remove certain leagues from my results because it feels like youre doctoring the results to look good, can definetly understand removing low liquidity leagues though.
