The in-game start date for the episode was the 4th of Syndestar 836. Sam’s flask says “Empty” on the front and “Love” on the back.

When I started writing these timestamps, I was unemployed and depressed, I felt useless and powerless. The best parts of my week were posting these timestamps and seeing all of your responses. Seeing people tell me I was doing good work, that I helped them enjoy the show, even just praising the speed made me feel like I was worth something in a time where I needed it the most. After three and a half years, four jobs, 194 stamp documents and a lot of work on myself, this weekend I moved into my first solo apartment. I don’t know where I’d be now if I hadn’t gotten the appreciation when I needed it, so thank you all. See you in C3, in these one shots, and who knows where else.

Any moments I missed? Feel free to post them here. Is it Thursday yet?

  2. I re watched episode 24 where Beau tells Nott how she was captured and dragged out of her home by the Cobalt Soul Monks. It was heartening to see Beau get the justice she derserved.

  3. Interestingly, the notoriously squishy Caleb finished up, at level 16, only two Hit Points behind Vax'ildan at the same level, Caleb's 103 against Vax's 105. Don't neglect CON, kids.

  4. 17:00 Imagine if a day after they returned or later that same day Trent and his cronies arrived to take on the MN.

1:45:52 …Yeah…I figured this would happen.

2:37:55 I'm trying to figure out what spell or magical effect this is. Is it Globe of Invulnerability? Otiluke's Resilient Sphere? Or some magical item doing this? 2:39:46 Well, Fire Shield is the protective field of fire around him but it's not what is preventing him from being hit. What is it?

4:55:26 Ah, that's what it was. It was a magical item. I'll take note of that.

6:32:50 I'm sorry, but I really, really, really didn't like this part of what Beau said. This is not something you say to someone who died neither is it something you say to someone's former loved one. She shouldn't have made this about herself, she should've made this about Yasha. "I'm sorry that you didn't get to see all of the love she has shared thanks to you, the doubt she has overcome, and the lives she has saved, but also the little things like the tenderness she shares, her appreciation of Life, and the friends she's made," would've been a lot better and made it about all of the things Beau has grown to love about Yasha without making it be about herself.

6:34:52 You could tell that everyone is paying attention now, not so much as the role-play, which is absolutely phenomenal, but because Caleb's story is the most personal and the most relatable out of all of them. How many times has everyone thought that if they had the ability to go back and change something from their past, would they do it? How would they change it? Caleb's/Liam's plan sounds foolproof. There doesn't seem to be any holes in it. Even Matt has come around to try it.

I'm willing to bet that Essek might be the new Allura for C3. I doubt that Allura would be throwing down or doing a lot of traveling as a 70 or 80 something year-old lady.

Good story, Matt and everyone. Thanks for the adventure. I wish that my DnD campaigns can come to such a heart-wrenching close.

  5. I started Campaign 2 on August 2nd, 2021, I ended it on July 7th, 2022. I wish I had watched during the pandemic. I wish I had watched live. I'm glad I watched it all, and I can't wait to watch more.

  6. Someone's probably commented this already, but… Sprinkle probably snuck away from the M9 multiple times during the campaign only for Artagon to teleport him straight back into Jester's pocket.

  7. Thank you for this story and helping me to come to term with the new chapter of life I have enter come to the end of my first year at university. Helping me to further make peace with the trials of secondary school. This past year has been though moving across the country and being away from home as well as come to terms that I’m Autistic and have ADHD. I’ve watched all both campaigns 1 and 2 as well as talks Machina and the many of the one shots during the last 9 months so thank you.

  8. Wow. AMAZING! I’m crying too. Thank you all so very much for such a wonderful story. It has certainly helped me through some hard times. Not only that, but watching this series inspired me to convince my friends to play d&d and we have also made some wonderful memories together. I had never even played before and now I’m a DM for my group and cannot wait to teach my daughter how to play when she’s older. We love you all back. I will forever be a fan. Thank you. And is it Thursday yet?!

  9. Beau: I could really use the blessing of your "god"
    "god" shows up to bless
    Beau: don't touch me!!!
    Like wtf?

  10. Liam, 5d8 is not 8 dice. When he told everyone remember 35, rolled 5d8 and came up with 78, I knew he was wrong. Max 40, probably around 20 avg damage but he comes up with 43.

  11. One of the most beautiful stories ever told. I’m so glad we all got to go on this journey together, even if we all listened at different times

  12. SPOILER:

The fact that, this whole time, Yasha was collecting flowers for her lost wife, instead of just for herself, is really the one that did it for me </3. What a story, what a party, what a conclusion!!

  13. It took me until when Veth gave Luc the Ring of Water Walking to realize that Veth went into water willingly when she went skinny dipping.

  14. I found critical role because of an animatic of the mighty nein first meeting, and i never could have expected the journey that would send me on.
Now i'm a bit heartbroken because it is over, but at the same time i'm incredibly glad happened.
Thank you critical role, and thank you Mighty Nein. You will forever hold a place in my heart.

  15. The contrast between how Matt addresses the rest of the cast when covering up notes or roles vs how Matt addressed Marisha is SENDING me
Matt usually: Me? Making a stealthy little role for God knows what? Never. You didn't see anything.
Matt after Marisha asked one (1) time: nO-

  16. I have been watching in order from campaign one and just finished today. i feel so incredibly grateful that i got to experience not only one of the best stories, but witness these wonderful people have the most beautiful friendship. critical role has always been there for me when i was lonely, but also as an inspiration for what real community and love can look like. i truly believe this is the key to this projects success, and it is so inspiring to see what magic people can make in friendship and creativity.
    i am eternally grateful ❤

  17. It's taken me about six and a half months to get to this point from the very beginning (VM). And I'm still nowhere near done. My goal is to absorb all of CR's role-playing content before the end of the year. My journey continues.

  18. Gosh…there were so many SMH moments in this finale…like Caleb being all sheepish about asking for the Happy Fun Ball, when it is actually sitting in Jester's Haversack because the group needed to use it to travel in order to rescue Yussa from the city in the Astral Sea. ROFLMAO These guys are just as forgetful and doofy as Vox Machina, but it is funny as hell.

  19. It's been a Loooong journey once again, but now I'm at the end of it. Wow, what a story! I kind of don't want it to end, but at the same time I'm eager to see the next story. Sometimes being late to the party means that the story is already told and you can just sit and listen the whole way through without needing to wait a week for the next piece.

  20. I did it! Finally finished this campaign! And man was it a journey! You can get so sucked into the story as if you're next to them sometimes! Theres too much to say honestly…with the story, the characters and they that act out those characters as well. They all impressed me so much. Especially Matt jesus!…but i have love and respect for all of them. They made a truck driver like me fall in love with all this. Well, on to the next one. Cheers everyone
