In this video I show a beginner how to put braid on a fishing reel. And when I say beginner I mean, someone who has never put fishing line on a baitcaster before. I always heard you have to regular line on first and then tie braid to that line is that true or what have you had any back lashes?

Every Shimano Baitcaster spooling vid I’ve seen doesn’t know there is a button on the side for a reason… to remove the spool so you can thread the line easier.

number one you using a two piece rod. #2 the line will get cut going through those holes. just use electrical tale on spool 1st
