  1. No comment on cricket liquidity Caan? You can see 40 million done on a cricket game per day on Betfair Caan

  2. I made the step from Betfair to Forex. To clarify, the tax thing only applies to you guys from UK. In the rest of the world people have to pay tax for gambling. I totally agree. I do Forex fulltime ever since I became profitable & can't can't see myself go back on betfair like that. One thing I also thing is an advantage of Forex is being to trade all around the world .I could be in the United States or Japan and still be able to trade Forex while that's not a possibility in the US for example. For someone like me who likes to travel a lot all over the world (pre Covid) and make some money during this time, it was difficult due gambling regulations in lots of countries to be trading on my Betfair account.

  3. Trading options is probably closer to sports trading than Forex because of the time decay element.

  4. Other things to mention to people (& I’m sure you know this)
Betfair seems to be more accessible. You can start betfair with £500 or less.
With forex you need broker accounts. You also need to pay for a good charting program & as mentioned you get charged if you win or loose.
Some broker accounts won’t let you trade unless you have over £500-1000 in your account. Then there is leverage to think about
In short, I dint think YouTube & Instagram has helped with Forex. Every time you see someone leaning against a sports car with #forex I wonder if they are real or they just make money selling courses & signals
Saying that, it is easy for a new person to buy courses on BF or a VIP tipster.

  5. I do both. I mainly trade cricket which takes up almost none of my time, and Forex takes up only 20 mins every evening with the strategy I use. Plus Forex markets are closed at weekends when Most people trade sports, so you very much can do both

  6. These are some sick tips! My side hustle has been offerup for the last four years and I flip 95% of my inventory in my hometown. I still make 4 figures every month by going to garage sales near me and flipping items without even shipping. I enjoy your side hustle grind and think it would be great to hop on a podcast that I’ve been working on. Direct Message me on IG @flipmandan

  7. Hi Caan, thanks for the video, I think this will answer some questions that many people had. I wanted to add something, if you don't mind as I am familiar with Forex myself as I have been trading forex for some time:
In Forex there are two type of accounts: CFD which carry capital gain tax and Spreadbetting which are tax free in UK, they are almost identical and what changes is the taxation as Spreadbetting is considered gambling in UK and don't carry tax so it's very important for anyone opening an forex account to use a reputable broker and ask for Spreadbetting account (Not CFD or contract for difference)
There are demo accounts also in Forex and they don't have the limitation that Betfair has: forex demo accounts can be used as often and as long as one wishes without fear of being banned, the only snag is that if a demo account is not being used for month (with most brokers) or there are no open positions the account gets closed and a new one needs to be opened.
I think is very important to go to a UK forex regulated broker if possible (some Australian brokers are also) and do some researches first as Forex trading is not centralized and there are some rogue brokers that can literally wak away with your money. There is also manipulation in forex (from big institutions) and strange things happen, like the one where I lost money on Brexit day due to an artificial move in the market that Friday with GBPUSD, so it's paramount to use Stop Losses.
One more thing before ending this comment is to avoid Forex signals but invest in proper education and have an understanding of the market and focus on the execution, not on the profits.
I have to say Caan is the first person to compare Betfair Trading with Forex, I don't think anyone else has done that so far. Thanks Caan!

  8. As I told you in a video a few months ago, betfair.it will leave Italy. Many traders have had their accounts suspended and limited due to the excessive taxation here in Italy imposed by the government

  9. Fantastic video The major challenges
investors face may range from controlling
impulsiveness to the frail of compulsion. Most
new bies and would-be investors often
undermine and most often neglect the
importance of technical analysis with regards to
trading. Technical analysis overly predicts the
movement of asset prices regardless of what is
happening in the wider or broader market.
Essentially, the process involves studying the
paths of a particular asset movement in the past
so as to establish a sustainable pattern that can
be used to predict future movements. i would
encourage investors out there to trade with the
little they have or copy trade alerts from a
professional trader as i have been doing with Mr
Adams Baker strategy/ daily signals since the
last bear market, increasing my portfolio daily.
With kis strategy/signals, i have been able to
grow my portfolio to 6.2 btc witk my initial 0,.7
btc. Mr Adams makes you learn while earning
massively. He can be contacted via whatsapp:

  10. Great video I'd been wondering what your thoughts on this are. I tried Betfair for 4 to 5 years but couldn't become profitable. I started trading Crypto last 6 months and had much more success. Ironically even though I wasn't in profit in Betfair I felt my experience there analysing markets helped me with the crypto. I think the difference for me personally is I seem to enjoy it more, feels more relaxed and its open 24/7. Shame about the tax though 😅 (although isnt the higher comission rate on betfair same as tax?) Maybe one day will return to Betfair markets 🙂

  11. Foreign Exchange trading is regulated by the FCA. The FCA will require you to declare your salary, the amount of money that you have in savings accounts, and the value of your house, before you are allowed to open an account with an FCA regulated broker. This is because losses can exceed the amount of money that you have in your FX account. Losses can be huge if you are not careful, and you will be expected to repay them.

If you have to, open an FX financial spread betting account. It's very similar to CFD trading, but spread betting profit is tax free (because it's 'gambling') unless it becomes your main or only source of income.

  12. Compared to Betfair trading forex eats most folks alive and spits them out. However if you can trade and are profitable you will if you have a decent broker the utter joy of not getting gubbed or slapped with premium charges. I started out with forex back in 2014 and it has made me a life changing amount of money, look me up on the Quora forum if you want some further info. I ran a value betting operation for 14 months on UK horse racing. Very profitable but was gubbed to death in the end and even on BF it is not really scaleable if you want some decent money as there is no liquidity on most races.

I love your channel Caan and you are a star at what you do but it did not suit me. I still have a couple of tipping sites and am just about to launch a 24/7 arbing and betting site having made a scanner for Worldwide horse racing that runs 24/7. Most punters just do not understand the maths either which I find super frustrating.

Well done and keep up the great videos, I will still watch them.
