Klay is NOT better. He's worse. There was a time when Klay shot the ball, you EXPECTED the ball to go in. Now when Klay shoots…go rebound.

No, he hasn’t. Them injuries been holding him back, he missed two straight seasons with an Achilles injury, and a torn ACL. He was never the most athletic guy, or the most skilled in general, that jumpshot seems to be still effective, but outside of that, he ain’t the elite two guard he once was. And truth be told, I always felt his defense was somewhat overrated.

Unfortunately, GS isn't in any real position to "thank" Klay while keeping the roster competitive. They're very much basing his next contract on his performance this season/playoffs.
I don’t think u can say the warriors looked out for klay with his injury cause he was a superstar on a superstar team. Plus u think Steph or any of the other warriors were gonna let GSW drop klay or trade him off! Don’t think so, yeah they did do for klay what any other team in the nba would have done in their position. Truth b told the day he got injured they prob wanted to cut his pay check in half!
Klay has not gotten better. Steph has gotten better.
He was injured for 2 years and a backseat to curry and kd for years. Of course it’ll look like he hasn’t gotten better.

Injuries for sure played a part but bro is the same players he’s always been, at least offensively. He still can’t take guys off the dribble worth a damn. His defense ain’t the same. I’ll chalk that up to injuries

Gil always wants to pay the player whatever they want. He played so I understand, but he never looks at the situation realistically. When discussing the James Harden situation, K Mart was the most honest with his take.
With age and injuried Klay has not gotten better. If anything he's gotten a little worse, even though he's still a great player. But it makes no sense whatsoever to sign him to a multi year $40M per year contract.
He’s not shooting as well since he stopped getting the ball into his shooting pocket. But I don’t know if his loss in efficiency is made up buy how much quicker he gets his shot off. He’s lost quit a lot defensively also.
He’s also finically fully healthy, so I hope some of those problems are just rust.
Last season Klay got the highest 3 points in NBA so i can't say he is washed or not getting better after his injury if we look at the papers his stats are way better than average current NBA player
