We hit Master Rank on Apex Legends in 2 days. This is a new series that if it does well, each season we will outline the games I hit masters. It took about 26 total games and all the good, bad, and in-between of how I got better with Vantage and how to get good and actually improve on Apex Legends.

  1. New series that if does well we will work to improve. Document whole journey through ranked but we get to the good stuff. The fights, moments we lost, and interesting rotations that can actually help.

I will only get better at this series, this was a first go. I also, while editing forgot how to count. Some numbers are missing. This was my mistake, not sure how I screwed up.

It was a long editing session and late night. Video turned out pretty decent. Probably longest I have had to edit in a hot minute!

Enjoy Diamond To Master Rank in 48 Hours!

  2. One of the first things he said was a mainly played vantage which resulted in me finding a different video and thumbs down cause vantage is the new crypto.

  3. Hey Dazs. I know this video took a long time to edit, but your hard work really shows. I really really enjoyed watching this and this is one of your most educational videos yet. I especially like how you give a short summary before each game, and really let the in-game comms shine. Fantastic stuff!

  4. I just recently started watching your videos and I really enjoy your content. I am not ranked levels yet but I do learn many tips and tricks from your videos. I would love for you to do one where you play regular and not ranked because I am still learning the movement of different teams. I thank you so much for your content and I watched this video from start to finish!!!!

  5. I love your vids, dude, your vids are amazing. They help my gameplay a lot, keep up the amazing work!❤️

  6. with the new ranking system, i feel like at lower ranks (rookie-gold) the kill points should feel more rewarding vs placement. At lower ranks, kills mean more than placement because lower ranks implies that youre newer to the competitive scene of the game, and at lower ranks, i really feel like battle IQ is severely lacking. With the new ranked update, were finding many high tier players stuck in lower ranks because of the fact that placement matters so much more than kills this season. this creates some pretty long games at lower ranks, and is somewhat infuriating and discouraging to newer ranked players getting into the competitive scene, especially when theres hardstuck diamond or masters player finding themselves now stuck in gold or plat. That matrix shifts down to plat players finding themselves stuck in silver-gold, etc etc. Lower ranks should be focusing on improving their overall gameplay and gunplay IQ, be it aiming, movement, offense, defense, teamwork, or all of the above.

Now in higher ranks(plat-pred), i believe thats when placement matters the most. youll find once you hit plat, players tend to play with their brains a bit more. (not to offend anyone) You dont really notice that everyone is a true beam until you start getting into diamond, but at higher ranks; positioning/angles, rotates, teamwork, comms, inventory management, utility/ability use, overall cooperation among your team is what gets you ranked up. At that level of skill, kills dont really matter more than actually playing as a unit because everyone can aim, everyone can rotate, everyone has their preferences as playstyle/inventory goes.. Apex is designed to be a tactical cooperative BRFPS with a high TTK, it isnt intended for one person to be able to just run through the lobby(even though we all know some people are just better LMAO) So to encourage cooperative play, i think at higher ranks is where this placement meaning more RP is much more efficient, as it then FORCES teams to actually think more counteractive than simply intuitively. Lower ranks should be experimenting with what they DONT understand or know about the game, while higher ranks should be experimenting and improving upon what theyve found works for them + WITH OTHERS. i think it would clean up matchmaking even more, as far as getting horrendous randoms goes, and may even encourage true improvement instead of encouraging "rat races" in SBMM.

Just an opinion, but id like to hear some thoughts on this

  7. Great video man. On a completely unrelated note, what is the music you used for the beginning of the video? It’s so familiar but I can’t remember it and it is literally killing me. I want to say it’s from zelda or some other Nintendo IP but I’m not sure. Thanks!

  8. thank god a normal guy playing apex and comitting errors like any other players do, instead of these montage players that only posts games that benefits them, making them feel like god of the game or something

  9. I really enjoyed watching this longer ranked video, it came at the perfect time for me. I have been playing a lot more ranked and wanting to see more than just a tips video (which help, but I want to see it put in action with more real life scenarios) Anyway, can't wait to see more just like this! Oh and that wraith when you only had the sniper left, I was dying man 😂😂😂

  10. This was really dope to watch. I wanna make the commitment to start streaming and watching creators like you is really inspiring. I’m not crazy cracked out but i know that I can get better with practice and attention to my mistakes. Keep rocking Dazs.
