  1. Bella, this was a gold mine of insights. It's amazing how you saying 3 words in context of a newbie trade is enough to trigger a shift in my way of thinking. I'm an avid watcher of your content, I just can't get enough.

  2. Excellent trade review! I would be watching 4 for a starter if I could see the stall on level 2. Very tight stops. This is how I like to enter on swing trades. If you are too nervous then just take a chihuahua trade something really small but keep tight stops all the same as if it was a full starter. Its awesome you review trades for your DNA students. What exceptional coaching. 👍👍

  3. Price and volume are the nucleus of the market. Study that and don't need any of this other stuff, especially any of the fundamental or news based nonsense.

  4. Thanks for making such a great video! Could you please advise if trading the closing hour is a good option as I am at work when market opens ?

  5. Total newly/“maybe wannabe” here. Obviously he put a lot of time in getting to this point, perhaps a lot of 💰 .
40,000 ft View: once at this point, how much money was risked and how much was made in this 1-2 hours of trading (given that he probably had many X that in homework and learning) even as he’s an admitted rookie. Thanks.

  6. Sorry for a trivial question, yet what is the meaning of a tier? Does it mean a portion or part of a size that you place in a trade? Thank you

  7. FANTASTIC watching you correct and adjust your newbie, because let’s face it if we are watching these videos then you know we are newbies too

  8. A moving average on the way down I find helps you locate where to add..but also where to add your biggest
size and capitalise on that sucker.

  9. Can we do a recap video on PTN and AMAG? Curious to know if the fake news was really. Who is behind the stock munipulation?

  10. Great video, would like to see a follow up, where Leon highlights what he would have done differently and how he would have gotten bigger, Mike B, would love your take on this.

  11. So cool, exactly where I’ve been unsure about how to size in… on the pops.. brilliant. Thank you for sharing, great stuff!

  12. Show trades that lost money vs trades that make money with the same template. Too one sided so far for all the videos.

  13. 5 min chart is king when daytrading but it can be a bit blocky and make you miss trades. What I did was to take the indicator settings of a 5 min chart and overlay them on a 3 min chart, eg a 30sma on a 5 min chart = 50sma on a 3min chart. PS I still look at 5, 10 15, 30, 60 min charts every so often to check mkt structure. I use the 1, 2 and 3 min chart strictly as an x-ray of the 5 min chart.

  14. Pure gold! I will finish the video now: paused it at 26:02 to screen shot it and mark up how I would have played it from written rules in my Trading Plan (Playbook). Thank you Bella for your vids, two books, and your time. Your have helped an old dog get up off the porch and do the work required.

  15. I trade mid an large caps and when I feel there is a sell te news event I can take advantage of at the open once it traded down then popped back up an failed at the opening price I would be using level 2 to start getting in The trade for a opening move down somthing similar on $SFIX acouple weeks back also $LULU had something similar

  16. This is so dumb and not necessary, wasting so much time. Analyzing everything so much, how much time do you have to do more trades in one single day? I have much better, very simple metod and it always work. Absolutely ground breaking !!!

  17. Super helpful advice with that 5min vs 2min on open, I will definitely add that into my trading!

  18. I had a similar thesis on MLNT with their sNDA release. Got in on a few puts and it played out nicely.

  19. Excellent video! I'm curious. Does SMB think looking for only two opening drive setups is acceptable for a trader in a similar situation? I have a full time job, so I only have 1 hour to trade the open. I look for two patterns that happen at the open, and work with earnings plays. I only trade these two patterns and they happen often. I have a good win rate with them. I usually spend 2 to 3 hours preparing for the trade, but only a few minutes actually in the trades. I'm curious to know, if I can show profitability with this strategy over time, would it be possible to get a job at SMB?

  20. I found this video to be extremely insightful! I learned a lot when Mike gave his advice about how to better enter his swing trade. Hope there are more videos like this where Mike helps critique trades and suggests how to trade them better!

  21. Love all your videos and cannot thank you guys enough for the amazing content that you put out. Can you please make a video on the following: IF you could only trade the general market, say SPY's or the QQQ etc, how would you do it? What would be the criteria you would look for? What timeframes would you be using? What woulkd be the ideal set-up in your playbook to attack these markets? THANKS !

  22. nice video. Im not sure I totally understand his entries. What I would like to see more is 'live trading'. Meaning recordings of how people are actually entering/covering and putting on a trade. Explaining things in hindsight has its value, but I would love to see more live recorded trading – and somebody talking through what they expect to happen – and how they act once the trade goes for or against them. For some reason no one dares to do this.

  23. As a person in a similar employment relationship with not mich time to trade, those information in this video are absolutely awesome. Learned a lot and try to keep my playbook always up to date. Many thanks for this video!
