  2. I just bought a new starter 2 weeks ago and I went out to my car and when I turn the key to start the engine my dashboard lights up but I here a whinning sound and the engine will not crank. What could be the problem??

  8. A word of warning. These starters will give you about a months warning in advance when they are going out. I tried stretching that and had to get the car towed home, luckily I wasn't far. Great Video

  9. Seeing all that corrosion on the starter is a dead giveaway that the inside of that starter is probably just as corroded

  10. Gonna do this next weekend in my 05 Altima . I seen almost all of your Nissan Altima videos . Great work always explain things while doing it and giving a few tips .

  11. You guys are lucky, the older models are more of a pain to remove because the starter sits directly underneath the intake manifold. It can only be remove from underneath the car.

  17. Hey brother! Great video! Any chance you can tell me if this would work for other 4cyl Nissan engines of the same year (I have Nissan Xtrail a Canadian model with a similar looking engine bay.

    Ill do more research myself but if you KNOW that'd be great! Thanks!
