We had a bit of a disaster when we returned from our Spring Break travels. Our fridge had gone out and wasn’t cooling. All of our food was ruined. We cleaned out the refrigerator and set out to replenish all our groceries for the month, starting at the Local Farmer’s Market, then moving to Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s and ending out the day at Costco! Needless to say, it wasn’t cheap to stock up, but we are so grateful we were able to and feed our humongous family!

Nice grocery haul. I have been wanting to go to Trader Joes or the longest time, but one isn't so close to me. I hate refrigerator break downs. Mine broke down in Aug. of 2020 and I lost a lot of food. I had to wait for two weeks for a repair man because of COVID. My landlord did not give me any reimbursement towards all the food I lost. I had to order out for two weeks which wasn't fun at all. Now I am hearing a squealing noise through out the day. Every time I come home from work I check the refrigerator to see if its still cold. I have froze a 16oz water bottle so thats my clue if it has broken down, this is so annoying. Your lost of food was way bigger then mine because I am only one person.

I live in the Atlanta area, but grew up in Ohio… I took my son to Amish Country a few years ago and it was so much fun. We went to Yoder's Amish Home in Millersburg, OH – toured two homes, a school, took a buggy ride, and purchased fresh baked goodies… Their whoopie pies are the absolute BEST! We also visited a restaurant (can't remember the name) and had incredible fried chicken and fresh baked bread. If you ever road trip to Niagara Falls, make plans to stop – it's on the way and the kids would love it!
