This statistics video tutorial provides practice problems on hypothesis testing. It explains how to tell if you should accept or reject the null hypothesis. It gives two examples – one involving the z-test and the other involving the t-test or t-statistic. One of those examples include a one tailed test and the other contains an example of the two tailed test.

Dude, you probably will never read this. But you are very good at this.
omg i love you, thank you so so much! ❤️❤️❤️
I love y
Wouldnt you use a critical value of t, not Z for the first problem since its a sample standard deviation?
ty finally i know how to find the test value
at 3:44 you use the sample standard deviation, but I think you meant the population standard deviation, sigma
why z = 1.96?
What about two tailed test for t test?
This makes me crystal clear on null and alternative hypothesis testing…. Thank you so much for this video
I think the statement made at 5:00 is misleading. Since if we increase the confidence level to say 99.99 then the calculated z value will definitely fall between the region of acceptance. That means at 95 cl we reject the null hypo but at 99.99 we accept it. Please correct me if I m wrong.
how Z value 1.96 is calculated?
What if the confidence level isn't given?
How did you get?5.06?☹️😭
the best and useful channel in YouTube!!!!!
How did u get 1.96 value
thank you so much you saved me from a big mess
thankss
Awesome. I feel like finally I am getting to understand null hypothesis. 👍👍👍👍
life saver!!!
The examples really help bringing everything together
Thenks
how 1.96 came???
thank you so much! thankfully the hardest part for me is actually figuring out the null hypothesis and remembering to divide by 2 for the two tailed test. otherwise, not as crazy as i thought it would be
I have passed probably 4 or 5 college classes thanks to you.
How do we know to use left-tail test (as opposed to right tail test) for question #2? Thanks so much!
Thanks you're a life saver
Another great video. Thanks a ton. My stats Professor is decent at explaining fundamentals but this really puts everything he’s said into context and practice.
You seriously saved me hours and hours worrying.
This guy’s lectures are very detailed while my professor’s lectures are too abstract. Thank you so much for helping me out!
Awesome, explanations you definitely should teach this!! WE NEED MORE EDUCATORS THAT CAN EXPLAIN AND COMMUNICATE AS WELL AS YOU DO HERE.
