I… I Don’t Know What I’ve Made – Attempt #1 At TriggersBots With Prismatic Burst/Reap/Cascade/Nova
Prismatic burst is just… bad. I mean… WOW, bad.
It has spell tag and aoe – yet it will not be supported by Spell Echo or Spell Cascade (or, to my understanding, ANY spell or attack supports).
They need to seriously rework this spell so it is properly supported either by attack supports OR spell supports (or both – make it a useful support skill).
I'd love to be able to figure out my own builds that are this complicated but it's so hard

I started the league with a trigger bot saboteur and combined rippling thought with smite… It works mediocre… But at least I have a use for that sword and combined trigger bots with infernal legion burn, shock and chill, and then also blind as defense mechanism.
Add Frostbolt for 2x nova ;p

I leaguestarted triggerbots with volatile dead spellslinger. With the enchant you shit out 8 balls per trigger. Was a lot of fun.
doing something similar but trying to optimise for prismatic burst dps, using poets pen arc for clear but eventually will get a weapon swap for bosses. Full lightning prismatic burst, 280% damage effectiveness so stacking heaps of flat lightning damage and crit. It hits pretty fucking hard, but unsure if that will scale into t16+ content off purely flat lightning damage and crit.
Might be something to test with archmage at one point.
I am having a lot of issues with optimising prismatic burst proc rate though. Such a high cooldown means stuff like adrenaline and onslaught ruin the proc rate due to too high AS, but I need those for the MS so the build doesnt play like a snail. Also you need to target, and land an accuracy roll, on an enemy for prismatic burst to hit. Which is super awkward with frenzys 1 projectile, using power siphon currently. SS and poets pen doesn't have this issue, so it plays like a coc build but not coc.
I don't think triggerbots doubles any spell with a spell cooldown, like frost bomb, or prismatic burst, or fire burst.
I'm doing something kinda like this, but with discharge. Haven't gone too far on that character bc I had about five other ideas I wanted to level, too. I wonder if it's worth to have relocating discharges going off. Using wave of conviction and hydrosphere in spellslingers for the lulz while I level to maps. That's working just fine so far, but probably wont out-scale discharge (especially since self-casting discharge with no supports on it is dealing absurd damage by itself alongside the setup).
