I'm reading the book serial killers of Mexico. At least 2 of the killers were working in a brothel at a young age. One from age 10, having been raised there by a mother who had been sold for sex before the age of 10.
Another ran away from an abusive home at age 13 when she had been sexually abused and ended up being picked up by a brothel owner from the streets. She worked in a brothel from 13. She was in prison for murder by the time she was 17.
I don't know if the same sex work situation has improved from the years these girls grew up in, in Mexico. I hope it had their stories are horrific. Many of the killers in the book would never have become killers given a better start in life.
Poverty creates this n humans in they’re journey to survive. Other humans take advantage of their economic situation. the truth tends to be swept aside .
