1. At the end of the day when you place a position if it goes against you it will cost you money , therefore by definition it’s a gamble you can win and you can lose.

I come from a massive bad gambling background and now trading has helped me alot overcoming gambling addiction as its calculated risk rather than just betting and hope you know doing certain things in trading you know profit will be made before you placed trade you have idea – tennis trading is what I do traded for 3 months 1st 2 months lost quite a bit but now I'm making profit over trades and am confident on each trade and if I a loss I don't worry about it just make sure next few trades I go for simple low loss trades

3. It’s educated gambling on predicting where the price will move in or outwards. Sometimes you will be write or wrong and forced to gamble / hold your position for a longer time than you intended, case in point a Tennis match I recently placed trade on. My strategy was for a quick back to lay / tick of server to hold on Game 1, of Set 2. Entered at 0 – 15, and was broken, so here I am on 1.71, 1.96 boats, and it’s moved out to 3.4, so you can either red up or ‘gamble’ the price will revert back in your favor. Turbulent Trade, where I managed to lay back 50% of risk and finally get for a €10 loss, what a victory, to add to the stress, door bell ran and you’ve to unload the f*** shopping from the car…Sorry not a comfort trade as match went to final set tiebreak, but exited out at this stage….The fun of Betfair eh?✍️👍
